Great place for good Italian. We had several appetizers and all the entrées were excellent. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Cocktails were a bit inconsistent, but one of the two I had was very good.
The owner or management might consider indicating this place as by reservation only. As a walk-in, being told there's a 90 minute wait when the place is completely empty is off-putting.

This has been by far the easiest 5 star review I've left of any restaurant! Everything from the food, to the service and the environment of the restaurant was nothing short of top notch. Bari was better than restaurants 1.5 times the price in every way and it's also great to know that they're local to Cedar Rapids. If you're looking for the perfect date night or a fantastic spontaneous dinner look no further! I am truly amazed by the dining experience I had there. The only critique I would add is that I would have liked to see the desserts listed on the main menu. And yes, the desserts were out of this world too!

I want to start off by saying the food and presentation was amazing. However, this experience was completely ruined by certain members of the wait staff. My fiancé and I wanted to go out for a nice dinner and spend more than we usually do so we tried out Bari. I picked up the feeling early on that our waitress was judging us but I tried to enjoy our date. However my feeling was confirmed when a separate waiter checked on us and asked how we were. I didn’t think anything of it until I noticed he immediately went to our waitress after checking on us and said “I just wanted to see what you were talking about” as they both laughed in the distance. As a former server myself I know all too well what that meant. We both felt extremely uncomfortable the rest of our time and paid as fast as we could. We will not be coming back after that interaction.

OMGosh! Food amazing. Service was fabulous. Tony was the best server. Make a reservation and enjoy the atmosphere and food. Risotto and Chicken Marsala was superb!
Service was perfect. Food was amazing. Surf and turf with scallops! Delicious. If I had to make a critique I would have liked a little sea salt on my gnocchi appetizer. This will be a go to spot when I am in town.

This place was absolutely incredible. From the customer service, to the beautiful interior decorating, and ESPECIALLY the food. We had a HUGE party and every single person (easily 20 people) adored every course. If you're looking for fine dining for that perfect night out I would absolutely recommend this place.
