Barrel House offers a mixed dining experience. The food is generally good, but can be lukewarm and mildly flavored, while the service is often slow, even when the restaurant is not busy. Parking in the downtown area can also be a challenge. Despite the occasional issues, the restaurant is still worth a visit for its excellent food.
