Worst DJ at a LGBTQ+ bar I've ever been to. Played dance music that sounded like '90s/00s attempt at rave. Honestly sounded like the same song for 3 songs. Would not recommend if you're looking for dancing, even though they had a good sized dance floor.

Selections for drinks were minimal, some people have a larger selection at home in they're own fridge. $6 for a smirnoff bottle is pretty high imo.

Don't go here if you're looking for a fun night. Only if you want songs no one has ever danced to and not planning on more than 1 drink. Only reason its even getting 2 stars is because at least its a safe space.

Legally, I don't think these places should be allowed. Just disgusting 🤢

I have several pending charges after visiting here last Wednesday night, even though I paid my tab and signed, it seems they tried to charge me for someone else's tab. I have called several times and can't get an answer from them. The phone number they have on Google isn't even listed on their website, and there is no real way to contact them. The website just refers you to an email for Spectrum Hospitality Group. Kind of shady, and really frustrating because it's holding up funds in my account. Definitely not worth the hassle.

Basix is amazing, Harry, Nikki, Eric, and Dakota are super sweet and always willing to help!! $5 cover on Friday and Saturday to pay for the show. A layed back atmosphere at the bar, with a hype atmosphere on the dance floor. Snacks and candy available for purchase, and a few arcade games. Super clean space, clean tables, floors, bathrooms are clean and smell clean! A nice outdoor patio, for just hanging out or smoking! The shows are always super fun, trivia, karaoke, and open stage on off nights!!

It's been a minute since I've been to a bar and wasn't expecting a cover charge (not bad 5$) the drinks were good but 8 dollars for a cherry bomb, 11 dollars (tequilla) and 9 dollars (well vodka) for the mixed drinks seems a bit high for the area even as doubles.
The bartenders were great, really friendly and made us feel welcome.

I didn't know they served food. But you can best believe I had a great time! If you're looking to relax and just plain have the time of your life Basix is where you want to be. Be there. You'll thank yourself.

Parking: It was a busy night!! Of course you want a Club to be tight on parking. Why? Cuuuuz that's where everyone else went to party at. The parking lot is brightly lit, the grounds are well kept. The atmosphere was lively!

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes there's a long ramp with a gentle incline 😉

Basix is great! Nice and spacious compared to the other gay bar, Studio 13! Great atmosphere and free trivia on Wednesdays!

I went here a few months ago and I was dead named with them reading it off my debit card as I paid to leave I felt extremely embarrassed I even had my Transgender sleeves on and told people I am transgender I feel that just because I don't change my voice to sound softer does not change who I am. I am gonna get voice surgery I know my voice is to deep I get it but just because I don't sound different don't change the fact that I am over one year on HRT and I do see myself as a girl. So far I just can't seem to be welcomed at any bar I go to that claims to be LGBTQ+ friendly
