Really enjoyed our experience with our first time visiting a hot pot restaurant. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The food was very good and there was plenty of it! I tried the pork bone broth, my companions tried the mushroom (a clear broth) and the herbal, all tasted very good. I felt the price was very good for all the food we received. One point of interest, if you go planning to do all you can eat, everyone in your party will have to do all you can eat as well, an understandable policy. Update: Went again for dinner, they now have the grills at every table, but are now only offering all you can eat. You are given a tablet to order your food (which I think was cool) and the staff was very helpful with the changes.

Cedar Rapids—UPDATED we’ve been there several times now, it’s a favorite for cold weather options. Service remains top notch, cuisine is delicious, they’ve added hibachi to the tables, it’s a nice option but we are all about the original. Plenty of options for most anyone even the adventurous.
ORIGINAL POST I wasn’t sure what to expect (I’m more of a General Taos kinda asian cuisine guy). WOW what a surprise, we went tonight, it’s like a buffet, kinda like ho hut, only better. They bring you a broth and ALL the options you want to put in the broth. I have no idea how anyone can eat more than 2 rounds, it is so tasty and so much good food.
Did I even mention the crab rangoon yet? The are massive, fresh, perfect, DELICIOUS! I got the herbal broth and seriously would have been satisfied with just broth but then added all the noodles, veggies, and beef, I’m so stuffed.
The service was amazing, my only complaint was he offered to bring me more crab rangoons (just kidding he was fantastic). Give the Boiling Pot a chance I think you’ll recommend it too.

I went with 3 hotpot newbies. The staff was quick and attentive. We had trouble using our phones so they brought us an iPad to order from. They have a self serve section with everything, but the premium items. We tried both the grill and hotpot and by the time we were done we were stuffed and happy.

Restaurant was very clean and welcoming. The staff was friendly and explained how everything worked. Ordering at the table was so convenient and the orders came extremely fast (within minutes!) despite there being quite a few other patrons. The hot pot ingredients were fresh and the portions were the perfect size for mixing and matching. Since everything came so quickly we didnt feel pressured to order a lot at once and could really take our time and enjoy. The dipping sauce bar was a nice touch and having dessert included was also a great way to finish off dinner. Will definitely return when craving hot pot!

1st experience of trying a hot pot meal. Was very tasty and a good selection of meats to choose from. Waiter explained what was needed and offered options that would be best for us the enjoy the experience more. Good alcoholic beverage selections also.

They were not very fast and VERY expensive for dinner was 90$ for two adults and child under 3 was 15$ prob won’t to their unless I win the lottery or on taxes their Food again wouldn’t say us good enuf to be wortg that
