Meh. I usually try to go to restaurants at least twice and try a few different things before I leave reviews and I really have nothing positive to say about this place. Its not bad, but its also not good. I'd basically eat there if there was literally nowhere else to go but it certainly would never be my first choice.

Was very disappointed, no fish and chips, people bragged about walley and some other great seafood on their reviews but the lady on the phone sugest fried shrimp, boy was i wrong, that was an awful choice, 6 or so tiny shrimp i did not count were burried under soaky and my opinion were very salty fries. The box they put in did not have breathing holes, so everything were soaked by condensation. To make the matter worse, i had to pay 16 bucks, i gave the lady 20, and she did not count them and said thank you and left with the money, i thought the change was a good tip until i got back to work, open the box and saw the food. I will not come back again. First and last, i trusted the reviews. That's why i thought it was worth a try, but no. I'll try elsewhere.

Best loaded Mac I’ve had in awhile. The thing was HUGE. Great portion sizes, excited for donut shop to open! Owner and managers are doing a great job especially for only being open since October. Genuinely feels like the employees care about the business. Definitely a refreshing sight to see!

Thirsty Thursday is the best here!! Half priced drinks (most are $2.50) Ellie knows her stuff, ask her to surprise you and it’ll be the best drink you’ve had in awhile. Burgers better than tycoons for sure.

We’ve wanted to try for a while and glad we finally did! The food was tasty and filling, and in my opinion, the cheese wontons are better than ID’s. Wings were large and cooked perfectly. Friendly and clean atmosphere; the owner was serving and we enjoyed chatting with her. It was a little wait for our food, but nothing horrible. There was also live singing by a talented girl. Will be visiting again to try some of their cocktails.

Good but not great is how I would describe the food and service. It reminds me of other better-than-average places in the area. Worth trying it out for yourself!

Oak Hill tavern seems like it would be a nice hangout for after work drinks with friends. There is an inviting screened outdoor patio that I look forward to returning to in warm weather. The atmosphere is mid level, non descript, and clean. I gave the atmosphere an extra star because I didn't notice any tvs in the dining area. The food was exactly the same as you could buy bagged at the grocery store (Chicken Ceasar salad) right down to the rock hard croutons. I did taste my lunch mates macaroni and cheese, which was delicious. I wasn't dissatisfied with my meal per se; I am overall discontented with restaurants who have a menu supported so heavily with vendor pre-mades. The service was excellent, the waitress was informative and had a friendly smile, which was a pleasure.

This restaurant is a gem in Cedar Rapids. Iowa, the décor is super cute, especially compared to the previous establishment. This was like a total remodel The service was outstanding and our food was so good so much of it is made from scratch. We will definitely be back again.

I have eaten here on several occasions and have always had great service. the food has been fantastic with good portions. we did our family Christmas get together here with 12 people and the service and food quality was too notch. everyone got the correct food 1st time with no errors in the orders. everyone said their food was great, well cooked. the wait staff was excellent, is always excellent without being overly in your space all the time. the manager and the owner both have talked to us and inquired about the service and quality. they really seem to care about customer experience. they are very open to constructive feedback to help improve the experience. I would highly recommend this place for any occasion, any situation where you are hungry or want food. the wings at this place are above and beyond with really good sauces.go here and get food and drink. it's a great place with great food and great people .

Had been wanting to stop in, we tried the wontons (which were amazing blocks of cheesy deliciousness) and split the tenderloin sandwich, also delicious. Very nice place, we look forward to going this summer and sitting on the patio.

The waitress and the owner were very friendly and attentive to us and anyone who came in (and quite a few came in not long after we were seated). Our food came out in good time despite all the orders that the waitress had to take. I had the Midwest Burger (including sweet corn, bacon, and Mac and Cheese) with fries. The burger was tender and juicy while well cooked and hot. The bacon was crispy without being burnt or tough while the vegetables were crisp and fresh (fair warning: the slices of red onion are pretty thick). The Mac and Cheese was flavorful and decently creamy and well cooked pasta; not too tough or soft. The fries I had were excellent; hot, crispy, golden brown, and well seasoned. Some of the salt lingered at the bottom of the pile but it wasn’t an issue. This place set high standards for restaurant quality fries.Only downside: the penne pasta made the burger messy and made the bottom bun a little soggy (though that’s to be expected with such a topping heavy burger). My mom had the Mushroom and Swiss Burger with (I think was) Stuffed Pepper Soup. The portion size of the soup was surprisingly large. It came out somewhat cold but the staff made sure it was heated up properly. As for my dad, he ate the cod sandwich with fries along with a blueberry mojito. Similar to the soup, the fish sandwich had a large filet. Suffice to say, we definitely got our money’s worth. The only issues I had were with the parking and the bathroom. The parking lot was full so we had to make do with a spot on the street. And the bathroom looked like it could have used some cleaning; the toilet looked clean but the floor was sticky in some areas and the garbage needed to be emptied (thankfully only used paper towels).Overall, the food was excellent and gave us generous portions at reasonable prices. Combined with personable staff and prompt service, I’d definitely recommend this place for anyone craving a burger.Vegetarian options: They have a fair number of vegetarian appetizers but there aren’t many options for entrees. Good things have been said about the cheese wontons.Parking: The free parking lot is small. Spaces fill up quickly, arrive early when possible. Otherwise, you have to park on the street.
