Great improvement from several years ago. I had the steak (large) and eggs. Service was fast, friendly, and attentive. Will definitely be back as a regular.

We went right around 12 on Sat. Nov.1st & it was busy which for them was a good thing 😊

Was quickly sat at a table ~ ordered a Chicken Gyro side of Chicken Rice Soup.! Also Breakfast Shipwreck (choose what in it).

Both of us were very satisfied with our items & took home a portion of each.!!

Could get Pie & Sweet Rolls if wanted.
Also fresh coffees & Iced choices if you want.
The waffles looked amazing that another had ~ Lol.

Waited nearly 20 minutes. Restaurant was not busy. When we got seated, or drinks order were taken. When the waiter returned with the drinks, we ordered. Waffles with chicken and toast with avocado. Nothing serious. We were offered drink refills every 15 minutes for 3 times and our food was still not there. A few minutes later, the syrup came out. The wait staff is friendly and their service is great. The wait time for food needs drastic improvement especially since it was not a big order. The food taste great but cannot see myself turning for this reason. 90 mins spent is value time in my opinion.

Excellent breakfast, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere. No frills, great food, and outstanding prices. A must stop on your trip through Cedar Rapids!!

Breakfast Barn catered our child's birthday last weekend, and we were thoroughly impressed. We requested hamburgers, hotdogs, and a tray of burger toppings, and they certainly did not disappoint. From the initial phone call to the pickup, the staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. We picked up the order promptly at 10 a.m., and everything was neatly packaged and labeled. The hotdogs were hot and delicious, reminiscent of those from a ball game. Although we assembled the burgers ourselves, they tasted fantastic, like a Burgerfiend burger. I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful the service was and how friendly the owners and staff are. We would certainly choose them again for future catering needs. Thank you!

Went in for brunch today - turned around and left after they seated a very disheveled couple and their dirty/neglected non-service dog in the restaurant. This seems like a health hazard to allow non-service animals into a restaurant.

I ordered a breakfast veggie omelette. It was great. Husband order biscuits and gravy. He also enjoyed his. Waitress was wonderful and attentive. The atmosphere decor was warm and homey. The music was a little distorted- I think the speaks are too small for the volume. It was the only distraction from a wonderful late breakfast. I was surprised that this place was not packed given the quality of food. Comeback because on Monday they have BOGO 1/2 off specials. I am going to try the chicken. Can’t wait
