Stopped at Brewhemia for the first time today and it was wonderful! Met one of my late father’s friends there who hasn’t seen me since I was a couple days old, so we were catching up talking about our memories of my dad. I was so engrossed in conversation that I hadn’t realized they had closed almost 40 minutes prior. No one came over to rush us out, but I apologized as they offered me a to-go cup for my drink and they graciously told us it wasn’t a problem. We then sat outside on the patio for another hour in the shade finishing up our coffee. Thank you so much for giving us space while we talked about some pretty heavy things along with our wonderful memories. It truly means a lot to me as I cherish every moment I get to talk about my father, especially with those who cared about and love him almost as much as I do. ♥️ I will certainly be suggesting this place to everyone, but I promise to remind them of the closing time so they don’t overstay their welcome like we did. 😅

Will not recommend Brewhemia for gluten free (allergen friendly). My youngest (5 years old) has Celiac and we had gf quesadillas. When ordering, they convinced us that they take all the precautions while preparing food there and a lot of people eat their gluten-free food, but my daughter is now throwing up non-stop. She’s definitely glutened. 😞

Lovely (light) iced dirty Chai, had them put it in a to-go cup because of my disabilities - it makes it easier for me - and they didn't think twice about it even though I was having it in-house. Very accommodating. ❤️

I believe her name is Frankie, at the front, gave the best customer service I’ve ever had. So genuinely sweet! The food here is amazing, especially the monthly specials. Definitely my favorite spot for coffee and brunch ❤️
We both had the paleo bowls for breakfast and they were amazing. Perfect combination of bacon, ham, sausage, peppers and onions in fluffy eggs. Delicious!!!

This is easily the best coffee/cafe here in Iowa. The food is always fresh and amazing. The lattes are consistently great. No burned shots. They make their vanilla and caramel for the lattes IN HOUSE. Don't pass up the vanilla latte! It's run by the sweetest family who are always positive as are their baristas. They'll take the time to explain anything about the menu, you never feel rushed. Please visit this shop and see for yourself. I'm picky and they have always accommodated. They have intolerance options too.
This place is the absolute bomb. The atmosphere is lovely. The coffee is probably my favorite coffee ever.. the taste and the latte art designs. The food is always fresh, delicious and cooked perfectly. Great GF options, one of my favorite places to eat in the area.
