Manager is being rather rude to his staff telling them “not to run their mouth” saying “I’m already here enough, I don’t want to be here anymore”. He acted like I was dumb for standing where you used to order but said loudly to an employee “I think this girl might be ready to order even though she isn’t down at the register”. I’ll be avoiding this location in the future, very uncomfortable experience.

Best bagels in Cedar Rapids. For some reason the everything bagels I get are always smashed.
I am amending my response to include a readily apparent observation. I reviewed 6 negative responses after mine.
You use the same generic responses each time.
There is obviously one senior employee with a negative attitude. Is he a manager/owner who writes these cookbook responses??+

The young man taking my order was excellent, however the older individual prepping food was rude the entire time we were inside. Going on and on about how they aren't going to get out at 2 when they close, yelling across the kitchen at his coworker, mumbling under his breath just complaining and ruining the atmosphere in the all but empty establishment.

I tried the Farmhouse bagel sandwich and it was absolutely amazing! It is the best breakfast sandwich I have ever tasted. I will be back again soon! Brueggers never disappoints. Quality ingredients and flavorful food. Highly recommend their bagels and cream cheese as well.
