The Italian beef sandwich I ate 45 minutes ago was the greatest sandwich of my life. I have been eating sandwiches for approximately 38 years. I've probably eaten like one hundred thousand sandwiches or something. The Italian beef here is the best one. The King of the sandwich kingdom. The lord of the sandwich realm. I can't stop thinking about this sandwich.
Stopped at New Bo for something to eat and decided on this booth. I ordered the Italian Beef with Hot Peppers and juice on the side since I was eating in my car. It was hands down the best I have had in Cedar Rapids. I would put it up against a couple places I go to in Chicago. Full of beef and very filling and was $11 after tip. Well Done I will be back!
I decided to try my luck at Capo Italian Beef for a meal at NewBo. I heard the Chicago Dog had been selling well today, so I got it in a combo with some fries.The hot dog took a while to prep but it came in a decent amounts of time with all the trimmings (tomato, pickle spear, peppers, diced onions, and green relish).The hot dog was pretty filling but kind of on the lukewarm side. Had it been cooked more, it would have been better. The toppings were fresh but kind of difficult...
