I placed a take out order wanting to try Cappy’s for the first time. I showed up when they said…not ready. After twenty minutes passed, I asked where my pizza was. They never even made the second pizza. Never offered a resolution, just said sorry. I sat there a total of 45 minutes. So, from the time I ordered until I picked up…almost 90 minutes passed.

When I moved here I was sad because I was leaving behind my favorite New York pizza place. After Cappy's, I'm no longer sad. I can say this is the best New York pizza I've ever had. Their Chicago crust is also nice and buttery.

Definitely not a deep dish, more of a hand tossed sloppy pie. Cheesy bread and salad was good though
The pizza was decent but there was about 3 small pieces of sausage in the whole pie. The price ended up being 3 dollars higher than what was advertised on their website.

Very good pizza with nice place to eat. However, if you call in an order to pick up and you arrive before your order is ready and decide to eat there, you can't! They enforce that policy, as of 9/18/2025.

1 star is specifically for the gluten-free crust. After oping my order and seeing the sloppy sight, I showed the boys working and was told that b/c the gluten-free crust sticks to the oven the topping slider around and that the owner was fine with it. Got home to eat my $26, GF 12 inch veggie pizza, and found the bottom was completely covered in raw flour. Tried scrapping it off b/c my kids didn't like the powder covering their mouths but ended up just eating the toppings off and calling it a night.
