Very good pizza with nice place to eat. However, if you call in an order to pick up and you arrive before your order is ready and decide to eat there, you can't! They enforce that policy, as of 9/18/2025.

1 star is specifically for the gluten-free crust. After oping my order and seeing the sloppy sight, I showed the boys working and was told that b/c the gluten-free crust sticks to the oven the topping slider around and that the owner was fine with it. Got home to eat my $26, GF 12 inch veggie pizza, and found the bottom was completely covered in raw flour. Tried scrapping it off b/c my kids didn't like the powder covering their mouths but ended up just eating the toppings off and calling it a night.

This is my favorite Chicago-style pizza, and I'm from the Chicago suburbs. The sauce was nice and spicy, and the crust was delicious. I loved the Greek salad, and the atmosphere was very cute. I will be back!

When you talk about the best pizza restaurants in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa city area, you have to enter Cappys into that conversation. Our group came in 6/19/25 and the experience was wonderful. Your pizza will not be out in five minutes, so I recommend turning off your cell phones and enjoy time with your friends or family in conversation. If you want pizza that is already cooked and ready for you as you walk in the door there are places you could go, but if you’re looking for a quality pizza with great ingredients and a staff that cares about what they’re doing this is where you need to be.

Need more servers. It took 20 minutes before anyone showed up at our table. Only one server. Great pizza and Greek salad. Hot inside too. No air conditioning. Its best to just take your pizza home.

Started going here when they 1st opened and it was GREAT pizza, but now we will never return. Several times we have asked for lighter cheese and a little more sauce and we've gotten just the opposite, Smothered in cheese and hardly any sauce at all. If this was just a one time deal it wouldn't be such a bother, but like I said the last 4 times we've ordered they got it completely wrong....BYE
