My first time here. The food is made fresh in front of me. I tried their jerk style pulled pork rice bowl. It came with tomatoes, corn,avocado and cucumber. Huge portions. They offer coke products and juices for drinks. Staff very friendly and my food was cooked to order. Very delicious. In my opinion this place is great. Its located inside NewBo market in downtown Cedar Rapids. Czech village. Parking available. Although I visited on a busy Saturday it didn't take long for my food to arrive.

Catered a Caribbean Rice Bowl buffet for our son’s wedding. The food was amazing. Great fresh food, veggies and sauces. Met all allergy needs. Gluten Free. Set up was on time and the service was great. If you haven’t tried them- you need to. Thanks so much for being part of our day.
My friend brought me here for a quick lunch before driving me to the airport. She had been craving their Cuban Sandwich. I went with the Jerk Chicken rice bowl and a side of fried plantains. Our food came out fairly quickly, and everything was delicious. I appreciated the spice and heat on the chicken, just as it should be - very authentic to the Jamaican food I got while living in Miami. The space isn't the most welcoming because it's just a big food hall. But there were plenty of available tables mid-day on a Saturday afternoon, even with a huge festival happening in the front parking lot.

I never leave reviews, but I am typing this right after finishing a curry chicken rice bowl served with the most flavorful, delicious piece of bread that seemed to be right out of the oven. The curry was smoky, salty, and intensely flavorful, with big chunks of chicken, carrot, and potato. The meal felt wholesome, super fresh, and immensely satisfying. The man working was extremely kind on a slow day and I absolutely loved the food. Best thing I've eaten in a while. A must eat. 5/5.

I purchased the honey jerk chicken wings meal and I must say it was delicious! The chicken was crispy and cooked just right , Mac and cheese.. fantastic and the rice and beans had a great aroma/ citrus flavor. I will definitely be going back. The cornbread was ... *Licks fingers*
My husband purchased the pineapple coconut lemonade around 2ish today and when we tasted it, it had a VERY potent burning, sour taste to it. My tongue is still tingling after 20 mins of taking a sip. It almost tasted as if chemicals had been put in it. We was completely inedible, which is a shame because we LOVED this drink. I simply can't ever order it again. My mouth is literally traumatized...and burning.

Great food, amazing chicken curry patties and curry chicken burrito. Depends on who's working though as to whether you get good service. Sometimes one of the workers is off talking to other vendors hanging out, which leaves me standing around until he notices. The owners son is a good dude and really attentive.
