Carlos O'Kelly's - Cedar Rapids 2

I waited more than 45 minutes for a soup, and the other dish was three enchiladas. The waitress's excuse was that there were a lot of people, but the other people who sat near me and arrived after me were served their dishes.

Came to get some margs for the $4.44 deal and not only did our first bowl of chips have a hair in it, both of our margarita glasses weren’t cleaned properly… won’t be returning

My 22 y.o. son and I like to go to Carlos O'Kelly's after Iowa FB games. Great food service and drinks.

Foods good the staff is nice and if you're there the right night they have a bartender that is a Psychology major

They changed receipes on 2 things we always order. Not good, Seafood enchiladas and shredded chicken enchiladas were different.

The recent renovations were spot on.

Just wasn't good. We were seated quickly, but it took forever to get drinks. The food wasn't good. One member of my party requested no cheese on their meal, but guess what...there was cheese. The server was inattentive as well.

I stopped in for lunch with my daughter and my mom today and we were pleasantly surprised to find out it was $1 kids meals week 🙌 Can't beat that price these days!! We had wonderful service as always from our favorite server Bay & my 4-year-old will tell you she makes the best shirley temples around!! The food was delicious and we enjoy it so much more now that the place has been remodeled!! See you soon Carlos O Kellys 😃

I hate to leave a sub par review but the food was just very mid. Very very mid. That’s important when you’re going out to eat, ya know? I had the fajita chicken bowl and it was simply alright. It’s on me, I’m not much of a Texmex guy. I went in blind off a recommendation and didn’t know what I was getting into.

That said, the chicken was pretty good, and so were the chips. The chips were freakin’ huge. Like ginormous. Think of when you’re a kid and use absurd words to describe large things. THAT is how big these chips are.

I was going to leave a 2 star review but this place inspired me to go on a Cedar Rapids Mexican gauntlet run while I’m in town and for that I’m grateful. That and my server was good, she was super attentive and I appreciated that. Who knows, maybe other dishes are better!

All our lunches were hot, fast, and correct!! Everything was delicious. I had the Naked Nachos, and that would be enough for 3 people
I took plenty home!

Never did get to order. Water standing and waiting for 5 minutes with 3 staff members stating right at us we left.
