I'm not quite sure where this spots reputation comes from. While the beef tenderloin was quite good, the menu overall felt very dated as did the restaurant. The relish tray, and potato selections were a letdown. The house salad dressings were a bright note as was the service. Pricing is high. We felt that there are many better spots to go for a dinner at this price point in the area.
Updated 'Old style supper club'. A little way out of town. Updated menu, steaks & seafood, other options....always perfect, plus baked beans, salad & relish tray. My family tries to go once a year, for an exceptional meal. Tenderloin steak can be cut with a fork. Celebrating a special day, let them know ahead of time. Reservations good idea for Friday & Saturdays, and paries of 76 or more. Been going for 40 years!!!!!!?
Not like it used to be, pricey, bartender service was good, servers were nice, food was good, but orders arrived at different times and people had to wait for their food while others had already finished. This was a holiday party planned with plenty of notice and reservations made ahead of time. Some orders were missing part of the order as well. Not horrible but when you're spending that much money I expect it to be almost perfect.
