Cedar Ridge Barrel Room

Cedar Ridge inside CID offers a cozy atmosphere and a decent selection of drinks. The local touch is appreciated, but the prices are higher than expected for an airport bar. Service was friendly, but the overall experience felt a bit overpriced for the limited options.

Very welcoming atmosphere. Draft beers were varied, domestics and local microbrews. Service was quick at the bar. Food was so-so. Their eggs come from a carton so you can't get over-easy eggs. Bartender was super cool and made the wait for our flight enjoyable!

Ordered Breakfast - cook was in the seating area at the airport on his phone. I ordered scrambled egg meal with tater tots biscuit and bacon. It was hot, I’ll give it that. The eggs with oily, tater tots were tater tots, bacon was good and biscuit was ok. It was a let down. Waitress was super nice. Only reason I didn’t give it a 1.

$11 for a pre-formed egg patty, sausage and American single on a cheap bun with nothing else on the plate and $17 for a single bloody mary counts as straight up highway robbery. It might be an airport, but that's still inexcusably overpriced. I can't recommend it at

Chef says last call for breakfast walk up to bar waitress says no breakfast. Who cares what the chef says. Very rude

Wish I could give 0 stars. Lady the bartender and takes orders is extremely rude if it wasn’t the only restaurant in the airport I wouldn’t recommend going here.

Awesome staff person; We were grounded April 30, 2022, and the only thing open was this place, But your lady in charge kept the bar open and was serving chicken fingers, grilled cheese and fries to Hungry fliers asap along with her kitchen help, with a smile and speed. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! This young lady is a keeper whoever she is.!

I was served a grilled cheese with mold on the bread. The waitress also handed me a straw with her bare hands and didn't bother to cover it with a napkin of some sort then placed it on the countertop when giving it to me.

Great breakfast for airport food. I loved that my coffee came in a Togo cup for my flight and is a nice local roaster. Nice crispy breakfast potatoes, great bacon, and perfect scrambled eggs. I had the Classic American breakfast.

Good variety of foods. Pretty decent prices.

Great service. The waitress was very friend, helpful and answered all our questions. Great Iowa Mule!!:)
