I can't even begin to explain my experience with Chappy's. I have never been more ecstatic to enter into Chappy's. Ever time I visited, I had the best time. Servers were always excellent, food was beyond amazing, and I always had a smile on my face in this restaurant. I will be forever grateful to my uncle introducing this place to me. He also loved Chappy's as much as I did, it was his favorite bar. My personal favorite food from Chappy's was the beef stroganoff, but I also really enjoyed the meatloaf. Ever since Chappy's has closed, I haven't found a single restaurant that could even begin to compare. I sincerely wish Chappy's could be open even 1 day more. RIP Chappy's, you will be missed.

I think they are closed. I heard the owner died. They were a Cedar Rapids Iowa legendary estabilishment.

Their tenderloins don't mess around. Lots of good people working here
I had a French dip sandwich. I had them add mushrooms, onions and green peppers. It was great. The service was great and the restaurant was very clean.

Employee's are kind but on the expensive side for a tavern. The patrons who regularly hang out here come across uppity and antisocial.
