I sat at the bar and Virginia made me a wonderful old fashioned. I had sliders with sweet potatoes, which came with an amazing marshmellow sauce, I even got extra? a friend joined later and i talked her into getting the same thing. Will be making this our new hangout spot!

Phenomenal Ribeye, Fried Brussel sprouts (to die for), mashed potatoes, and sour salad.Trinity is an awesome server, and Marcus knows exactly how to prepare a Pittsburgh Rare steak!! Better believe we are coming back!!Half hour is not too far for this!!Highly recommend!!

We got to experience the Chef's Table at the Chophouse Downtown as part of our tasting for a rehearsal dinner. It was GREAT! We not only got to watch Chef Ryan prepare phenomenal food for us, but we got to chat, ask questions, hear about his culinary story, and tips/tricks for our own cooking. We left very satisfied with our experience and recommend it to others! Cool opportunity for the CR/IC area. Based on recommendations, we went to Chophouse Downtown. Now, we didn't pay attention to the event downtown (Iowa Orchestra, Billie Joe and Elton John going on I believe), so there was an hour wait, since they were prioritizing concert goers first (which was fine). Worth the wait, and we will be back for sure! I got the New York strip with sweet potato waffle fries and brussel sprouts, and he got the sirloin with waffle fries (they were out of mashed potatoes), and chili. I also got a shot of fireball after the waiter asked if either of us wanted one.He got his steak well done, with chili and waffle fries, and I got mine medium rare with sweet potato waffle fries and brussel sprouts. His fries came with ranch, and mine came with what seemed like a cinnamon type of dipping sauce (really good). The chili was soooooo good, and we shared it. I'm not a fan of brussel sprouts, but these were DELICIOUS!Overall, 10/10, would highly recommend, and will be back when our budget allows.

Didn't have 3 out of 6 steak choices. Ordered chicken breast, it was served burnt. They replaced it, took over 30 minutes. They took 50 percent off my entree but not worth the hassle. Won't be going back.
Food is expensive but delicious. It was cold in the restaurant.
