Has temporary hours posted on store front sign. Very misleading since Google said they were open and they were not when we arrived at 7am. Maybe your business could update your hours online to reflect when you are open, so people know when to come in. Okay...I updated it for you. Likely won't be a next time. Wasted 16 minutes going into town for nothing.

My daughter and I visited donutland on the SW side yesterday. It was our first time. Hannah was working and was amazing and friendly!
My daughter loves the cherry donut and my favorite is the blueberry. Thank you for the recommendations and we will definitely be back!

The only positive experiences I ever have at Donutland Iowa City is when the owner is working. On any other occasion, there is something wrong. This morning I ordered long johns. Pickup time being 6:21am. A few minutes ago I got a call that they are all sold out of long johns. This isn’t the first time this has happened. So she offers to give me the round donuts. I asked for an orange juice to make up the price difference. She said she was already out of all drinks as well. How are you sold out of everything before it even opens? Why even open if you have almost nothing to sell? I have such an amazing experience when the owner is there, so it keeps me coming back, but it’s like a gamble. I have to hope for the owner to be working otherwise I pretty much get screwed. So I recommend Donutland Iowa City when the owner is there, but I don’t when it’s the other employees.
