We decided to give this place a try after a one year absence. Now I'm wishing we never went back. We came in for dinner on a Saturday night at 6:30, restaurant was hardly half-full. The place was filthy and there were flys everywhere.
We ordered two catfish platters which were, mind you, $16 a piece. They were advertised on the menu to be TWO fillets. After a half hour wait, we received 1 1/2 fillets. Not two. Everything on both of our plates was warm at best. You could tell the side of beans were reheated, bottom-center of the dish was piping hot while the rest of the dish was cold to the touch. My catfish breading was SOGGY and dripping in grease, which tastes fowl. The fish itself tasted like it had gone foul. Sour, paper-thin, and overall unpleasant. My wife's catfish looked like it had been mangled by a cat before it was brought out. Even the fries were cold.
I asked our waitress if our food had been sitting in the window for a while, she claimed she grabbed it right away. After explaining our displeasure with the food and not wanting to order a refire, she said the best she could do is take 50% off. We should have just walked out but we're afraid they might have called someone if we did. We paid our 50% off check of $32, and left. NEVER to return again.

Terrible lunch today. My BLT had mostly fat undercooked bacon. Bread was grilled in very old tasting oil.
My husband received cold soup and wilted salad with shriveled tomatoes. Manager was accusatory like we were out of line after he asked waitress to heat the soup. NEVER AGAIN!!!
Looks like a little hole in the wall but has amazing food and throw back decor. Would definitely recommend

Great vibe and friendly. Can’t pick an item off the menu. Been there twice. Each time very good food. I fly back to Arizona on Sept 4th. Hope to go again.

I love the atmosphere. One of those places that I just like the 'feel' of. The weekend food specials are very good. During the week the food options are more bar foodish. I've only had dinners there. I hope to try their breakfast sometime.

Food and service good. Very dark and rustic. The outside looks like a gardeners nightmare. Great place to hideout from friends and family.
