Just in town for work. Seemed like best thing around hotel and did not disappoint. Had the el dorado fajita. Best I’ve ever had. I know I’m weird in I like pineapple on pizza and it was with this along with bacon and cheese with a mixed (steak, shrimp and chicken). This place saved what was in every other way a very disappointing visit to this town

We love El Dorado, the owners are personable fun and friendly. We usually dine on Taco Tuesday and get the tacos, the street tacos are so good, great flavor! This week we did the mocajeta it was huge and so well done, a tasty delight. I love their verda salsa. The margaritas are amazing, best in town, I don’t usually like plain on the rocks but theirs is so good, not the mix most places use. 100% recommend!

We were visiting from out of town and came here because one of my husband's favorite Disney movies growing up was El Dorado and he's a dork. Not going to lie, based on the outside I probably would not have chosen this place but am so happy we did. The food was amazing, the service was quick and super friendly. It has been added to our list of places to definitely go back to if we are ever in town again, and we will definitely recommend it to our coworkers that travek in and out of Cedar Rapids.

Me and my daughter stopped in on a Thursday at around 2:00 p.m. not busy at all. Absolutely amazing food. The chips we got two orders of them. Both were warm and soft. Queso was amazing. Had the steak tacos. The corn tortillas were absolutely delicious. Not sure who the owner is or if the waiter was the owner but very nice. Very pleasant to speak to very attentive. In my opinion, this is probably one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. Absolutely delicious!!! And it's good to support small local businesses! I definitely will be back! Plus you could tell everything's made in house the freshness is top notch!
