Working on moving across state for work, needed someplace open later than most to grab dinner on a preparation trip. Food was good (not Iowa good, proper good) and the people were great! And the prices were very reasonable. We stopped two weeks in a row! Will definitely be back.

Came here to get food to go on my lunch break and I was not very happy. My fajita burrito barely had any meat in it. The rice was cold and far from fresh and the refried beans were so watery they were like soup. You could definitely tell they have just continued to add water to the bean over and over again. I will go else where I can get fresh food and my moneys worth.

We placed a pickup order from El Viejo, and everything went smoothly. The food was ready on time, packaged neatly, and still hot when we got it home. The flavors were amazing—fresh, authentic, and full of seasoning that really stood out compared to other places.

Even though it was just a takeout order, the staff was friendly and made sure everything was correct before we left. Portions were generous, and we definitely felt like we got great value for the price.

El Viejo is quickly becoming one of our go-to spots for Mexican food in Marion. Highly recommend for both dine-in and takeout!
