The person making sandwiches was visibly sick, coughing loudly, and handling food without gloves.

Recommend the Jamacian Jerk Turkey sandwich, but everything is good. Staff is friendly and always enough people working there to have things done properly and quickly.

There is absolutely no sense of urgency in the employees with the exception of possibly the shift manager at the time. Over a 20 minute wait for sandwiches and employees moving as slow as snails.Soda machine completely out of diet options.Sandwiches are way overpriced for the size you get

Wonderful food. Clean, restrooms clean also. Loved th drink machine. Love that that they donate to firefighters. My son is a firefighter in Denver. Service was prompt and helped me with my menu.

Disappointed. Waited over 10 minutes for 2 subs, no orders ahead of mine.Ordered to go but they were made to dine in. Also was not told that all subs come hot unless you ask for them cold. Larger print and clearer verbage needed evidently. Would have reordered but didn't have the time to wait another 10 minutes.I don't like hot lettuce, tomatoes, or mayo. Not worth the $20 I spent on them. Would have been almost $30 if I made them meals. Overpriced for what you get. Won't be back.

On this visit to Firehouse Subs, I got the Italian Sub on Wheat combo with Mac and Cheese for my side dish. I also got a New York Steamer for my dad.The New York Steamer earned my dad’s approval. About the only issue he had with it was the saltiness but that was a minor deal. The pickle spears (complimentary with the sandwiches) were crisp and fresh. Just the right amount of tang and crunch.Normally, I don’t have white cheddar for Mac and cheese but this was pretty tasty. The sauce isn’t too runny or too thick. For anyone who might want to add flavor to it, the restaurant provides several different types of hot sauce packets. As for my Italian Sub, I found it to be well made. Granted, it got a little soggy on the bottom but that was probably from the dressing added. All the ingredients worked well together and everything was fresh. I personally don’t think this sandwich would need any other sauce on it; doing so would likely alter the flavors and make it messier. The subs are kind of pricey but the quality is without question and there’s plenty of options to choose from. One more thing: this location has an electronic drink dispenser. That allows customers dozens of options for beverages ranging from Orange Fanta to Cherry Limeade (the restaurant’s specialty) to even cream soda.If you’re craving a sub sandwich, you can’t go wrong with Firehouse Subs.
