First time there and it was great! The gentleman that took our order was awesome if we wasn't the owner than he was the greatest employee ever. He was cleaning and stopping by each table to ask them is they needed anything and take away any items they were done with. Service was like a sit down restaurant food is 10 for sure.

This place is amazing! the food is phenomenal and the staff is even better. I left my drink cup on the counter after getting my food to go and the staff took it upon themselves to track down where I worked downtown and bring me my drink...very happy to have this kind of business in the area, thank you so much, very thoughtful!

This place is phenomenal! The best thing on the menu is the Gym Shoe! I get it with fries, Italian beef, melted cheddar, pickles, and celery salt. I love it! My husband gets a full dip Italian beef sandwich. That's our go-to spot whenever we go to cedar rapids

Very nice lunch spot in downtown Cedar Rapids. Good food, clean, and friendly staff. Do not go late as sometimes the sausage will be overcooked.
Parking: You will have to pay for parking. If there is a big event downtown, spots might be hard to find.

I was originally from Chicago and was living in South Florida, where I couldn't find a good Italian beef. So I was delighted to find Gianna's Italian Beef when I moved to Cedar Rapids. I ordered the beef and sausage sandwich wet. The hefty sandwich smelled fantastic and tasted even better! The thinly sliced beef was delicious, the sausage cooked perfectly and still had a little snap when you eat into it. The aujus was spot on and not too salty. I devoured the sandwich and left with a nice full belly! There was no need to eat a big dinner as I was still full. I'll definitely be back, in fact just writing this review is making me want another beef and sausage... I might go back tomorrow.
Gianna's is downtown so you have to pay to park, but it is so worth it!
