I just want to give a shout out to Green Angels Herbs! They have been so helpful to me through the last 25 + years! They have guided me along with my medical physicians, through many different health issues, both big and small. I can’t express enough how blessed we are to have this place available to us right here in our community.Trilby, the owner of Green Angels Herbs, is a certified A.H.G. Herbalist. She helps us to help our own bodies heal themselves through the use holistic medicine. Plant medicine has been around a lot longer than modern medicine and often times they are less expensive and without side effects, but both venues can and should work together. When we are faced with a health issue, it’s good to get a medical diagnosis and learn what the protocol is. Then it’s wonderful to be able to get another perspective to help us decide what is best for ourselves. Trilby helps us with just that! She has the credentials, the knowledge, is friendly and a delight to be around. Through the years, she has done several nature walks, has spoken at many events and has taught many students the various aspects of herbalism.To have someone right here that can share this knowledge and provide that time-tested herbal healing history is such a gift to us all. Trilby is great at explaining all that when you set up a consultation. My experience, has been well worth every penny. My suggestion is don’t wait! I have been working with Trilby for a very long time. I initially went to her in 2004 for a consult, but was disappointed to find out that what she provided was not a "bandaid", but a lifestyle change. I wasn't ready to hear that. A few years later, I went back and she has guided me in my journey. With her assistance, I have learned to listen to my body and what it needs. She has created herbal blends specific to my personal situation...stuff that works with my body to create a healthy environment. Herbalism is very confusing and is a holistic approach. Trilby is an excellant guide recognized by the American Herbalist's Guild. Her shop is a point of contact and open when she can be there or when someone else can help out - it's best to make an appointment or call first. Definitely worth your time!

I discovered this store on my first week here in town. Trilby has been a huge inspiration to me. You gotta be patient with her she’s getting up in age but she’s eager to share her 40 years of knowledge with anyone who wants to learn. The way you can tell she’s the real deal is by trying one of her formulas, she gave me one for my tremors and they went away in a week. She’s not always there but if you follow the store on Facebook, she leaves updates there. Trilby and her store have been a huge God send to me. Also every time I’ve done work for her she’s always paid me. She’s never expected me to work for free. She’s a beacon of love and nourishment to this community.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. The owner is manipulative and condescending, expects people to work without compensation. She told me she would teach me about herbalism, yet made no effort to actually teach anything. She has many out of date products on the shelves. Instead of talking to me about issues directly, she took to Facebook to complain about how "lazy" I am, which isn't the case. I live far away and was commuting to work for free, gas is very expensive and my car has been having a lot of mechanical issues. Not to mention I am a young parent with a full time job. I also just beat breast cancer after a whole year of chemo and radiation treatments. I am not lazy, and for her to insinuate that on social media instead of communicating with me is hurtful and immature. Do not shop here or expect to gain anything of value from working with her. She will use you for free labor.

Was hopeful she would be open on Mabon

I have been using her Sinus Formula for years! It works!! Any sign of congestion, I begin immediately and sinuses open. She is super to shop out ASAP.

Trilby is brilliant and naturally intuitive. My go-to for all healing. A true treasure in Cedar Rapids.

All ways call before going. Even when the time says they are open I have found its not always true.
