We used to really liked this place, but this specific location has been declining for years. Waited 15mins for two orders of cheese fries and the fries were old, cooked in old oil and the cheese was flavorless. We never have these issues at the location near Kirkwood

They should have stuck to cooking food and selling tobacco products this new gyro hut/ grocery store is very pricey and they try and get u with every fee they can 4% fee to use a card mechanic when im already giving your store money by purchasing items dont go eat at Chicago grill and shop at hyvee or Walmart there not worth is

The fries are always fresh and well-seasoned, offering a superior quality compared to typical fast-food chains. The food not only looks appealing but also feels healthier. I visit daily and genuinely enjoy the consistently excellent meals.
The owner is always very pleasant when I stop by and I always get the gyro sandwich which is always loaded up with lots of meat and it's always made quickly in about 10 or 15 minutes. My favorite gyro place in town

WARNING TO ALL!!!! I ordered food from work one evening. One of the items ordered were wings. Without question, they were long past their expiration date. Awful. Another person ordered the catfish combo, again, rancid fish that they tried to push out hiding it under deep-fried breading. Veryu obviously bad. Lastly was a gyro, their signature item. Dried out old meat. Awful. All of the food went in the garbage. Contacted the owner/manager who at first seemed kind. She was very apologetic and offered to replace our items with apparently fresh ingredients. Unable to return that evening, we received a credit. BIG MISTAKE! She quickly changed her tune when I went in to pick up one single item for less than $10, their gyro again. Suddenly she isn't very good at speaking English and refused to honor her promise to correct the issue. Aside from the horrible way of treating an unhappy customer, one should definitely think twice about ordering from a smoke shop. Had I known it was a tobacco shop fronting as a restaurant, I would have passed from the beginning. I always just called in the orders so, I was shocked to say the least lol. Beware!! Do they even have the proper permits to be operating as a restaurant?? Never ever again.

Small sized chicken. Salad are handful size. They up charge so if u not paying attention they WILL take advantage. Sales tax in Iowa 6% they at least get 2 to 3 dollars extra from you if you’re not paying attention overall the food is not worth it. They smiling your face and rub you behind your back better off going to Harold’s chicken on SW side, better taste bigger wings. If you enjoy getting robbed and hustled and not care about your hard earned money. This place is for you fools
