Please update site; just visited per great reviews and discovered it’s in a transition to a different type business.
I have been here several times and the food was OK and recently certainly the business has changed owners and it seems the food has gone way downhill. As for the current owners the new owners are very rude and that hasn't changed because the former owner was a real piece of work
Local cafe in Hot Springs. Small but good home made food. Nice staff. Homemade bakery items are also available to purchase and take home.
They were super busy and a little short on help. Once we ordered, our food came quickly. I had a bread bowl filled with chicken tortilla soup. It was full of flavor and delicious! Filled me up and is the best bread bowl I have ever had. I highly recommend.
Great service, great food! The omelets are masterfully prepared to order, and the Chef rocked it - not dry, not soggy - perfection! Thank you.
Great breakfast and bakery place! The hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes was only average. Stick to breakfast and sweets!
Great staff, great food, good prices. Everything you'd want in a restaurant! Definitely eat here!!!!!
We ate here last year when it was Daily Bread, so when we the area we decided to try it again. Food was excellent last year, and was excellent again. Had spinach and feta omelet with rye toast. Bread is homemade. Server was very friendly and we received our food quickly. We will stop in again when we are in Hot Springs!
We stopped by on our way to the Mammoth Site. The home cooking hit the spot… open faced turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. Nothing fancy, but good. We took some baked goods to go… they didn’t last long in the car. Really tasty! We tried some cookies, chocolate peanut butter bar and a long john.
We stopped in for brunch. I thought a bakery would have good baked goods but the bagel and cream cheese was stale. My husband said the chicken soup in a bread bowl was good. However, my daughter’s omelette wasn’t seasoned, and her friend’s breakfast burrito was bland. She said she regrets not asking them to take the ham out of it, because it messed up any attempt at Mexican flavor. The waitress largely ignored us - no drink refills unless we asked someone else for help - and we waited over 10 minutes to get the bill - from the bus boy. We walked up to the register to pay - our waitress was standing there - and she just walked away! Again, someone else had to help us. Really disappointing!

I’m a truck driver and it can be hard to find some healthy meals on the road at times. I called today and asked the lady can I get the vegetable stew without meat being that I’m a vegan. I purchased 3 orders and paid $42 just so I’d have food to munch on for the next few days. I later found out while eating it that it was made with meat. I keep finding bits of meat in it and now my stomach is in pain… I gotta to say I was excited to eat and now I’m very disappointed. I would’ve have rather purchased something else rather than be lied to for a sell. If you don’t see not eating meat as a health choice for you I don’t see why you would purposely give that to someone that stated that they don’t eat meat.
We ate there twice, and both times the service was friendly, prompt and excellent. The food was ample and very good.
The wait staff was exceptional. The food was nothing to crow about. We were in town and we were hungry. The portions were good.
?Don't get the fried rice. Because when it finishes.........
Stopped for lunch and the food was excellent. Sandwich and burger both fresh and served on homemade bread. Service was great. Nice selection of sweet baked goods as well. Cute little town, too.
