Ordered a delivery at 5:40 pm. Got a call at 6:42 pm told delivery driver was in the middle of nowhere. Called at 7:16 staff answers sorry were closed. Then was told my pizza was in the oven and not out for delivery. Happy Joes was my favorite but changed the way the BBQ Beef was made and now late service. Time to find a new favore pizza. I have also had it where my order had to be canceled due to not having a delivery driver. Sad day waiting for pizza.

If pizza is not made in a conventional oven, it's not pizza. You might as well buy pizza from Domino's pizza or Pizza Hut which is all garbage food. And I come from New York where real pizza is made.

Called to inquire about a reward I had. Guy who answered was very rude and had nothing good to say about corporate. He called them incompetent and said they just spam people with coupons and "he has to just lose money because they are stupid"I have emailed corporate and am waiting for their response.*6 days later and ive heard nothing from corporate. Seems they don't care what is said. They have 100% lost my business

While visiting my home town of Cedar Rapids, I got to thinking that I hadn't been to Happy Joe's in over 35 years. I remembered the giant bowls of ice cream hauled out to tables for birthdays and an absolutely loaded Canadian Bacon and Sauerkraut pizza. I decided to get one for nostalgic reasons. Unfortunately, the current rendition of this pizza was only a shadow of what was served years ago. The large slices of Canadian bacon and kraut were no longer piled high on the pizza. Rather, there was only a very modest scattering of chopped Canadian and very little kraut. A real disappointment how cheap and unappealing this old favorite had become.

Raised on Taco Pizza bot no longer live in Iowa. Every time I come back I get a Taco Pizza and unfortunately the quality/ingredients continue to get worse. Tonight was the last straw when I opened the box and saw HEINZ Taco Sauce!! The pizza was absolutely horrible. Never again. I miss Joe Whitty.

Haven't had pizza from here in years. The prices are ridiculous! $29 for a large taco.....that was burnt on the bottom, dry as a bone, and the chips on it were 2 weeks stale atleast! Never again

I haven’t had happy joes in forever it seems. I was passing through and gave them a call. They delivered hot and perfect. Exactly like I had it years ago. Totally hit the spot. Thanks for delivering to the random non address to the black Harley Davidson semi from out of town. I’m so happy now.

Pizza was delicious, but the prices are ridiculous. There were coupons I received credit for but only after having to ask. Regular Happy Joe's coupons are not valid at Cedar Rapids locations. You have to go-to happyjoescr.com to get specials that have to be ordered online for coupon credit. To me, far to much trouble to get to get a discount. I ordered 1 large and 2 mediums and it was 72.00. A bit steep in my opinion.
