I accidentally left a bag at the self check this evening . I called as soon as I got home and was told I could come in and show my receipt to pick up my bag which was probably returned to the meat dept. I went back at 8:30, the meat dept was closed. But a very nice night manager got me new roasts as he couldn't find the others. He wasn't the best meat wrapper but he was so cordial and helpful. Thank you so much.

Not only did I have to tell the person behind the counter to not give me the crab legs he selected, they were bad. I paid over 30 dollars for rotten seafood. If I could give zero stars, I certainly would. Do not buy any seafood from wilson ave cedar rapids. Please don't do it.

I accidentally dumped a roast broth My wife had made, I realized my mistake before she woke up and went to the store to this store and bought a roast and the vegetables for the roast. Easy to find things, mostly friendly staff. Don’t go in in your pajamas and not cleaned up, management will assume your homeless. 3 stars

I worked at the Wilson Ave. Hy-Vee on night stock for two years. I made some good friends and had a lot of fun but, it was a really tough job. I worked from June 1995 through July 1997. I was at the old building, before they tore it down and built the new one. I always treated customers with the utmost priority in anyway I could help them. I lost touch with everyone I use to call great friends. Sometimes, I wish I was still there.

It's a great little neighborhood grocery store. A little bit pricey compared to Walmart but they have a good selection of products.
