The trend seems to be that nowadays everything has to be spicy. I chose Chinese meatballs as an entree and I had to toss them out. They were so spicy. Either indicate that it is spicy or let people, who want spicy, sprinkle pepper flakes on it, just like if you want extra salt or pepper.

So in the past, it would not be unusual to find almost half a dozen local brews on tap. Since August 2021, An agreement with Walburgers (even though this is NOT a Walburgers location) and Anheuser Busch is keeping those beers off the taps. Now there is duplicity offering Michelob Ultra and Blue Moon on tap and in bottle. Why offer it on tap, if it is available in bottle (idiots)? Nope, get to soapy Stella off the tap. Same for Kona (which isn't brewed in Hawaii and then imported to the mainland, that would be irresponsible to Hawaiian water resources, plus prohibitively expensive), kick it off the taps! So yeah, one star because of recent beer selection on its 10 taps. The workers behind the counters are all five star. Food offerings are limited by older HyVee standards, but still good.

First the dining room area was a dirty hot mess with a garbage can filled to the brim, a used rotasire chicken container sitting in the area where they have the breakfast condiments. There was a lemon slice in the the soda fountain drain. We ordered soda pops and they didn't give us lids for the cups. Now, the service at the comfort foods of the deli, my husband ordered the steak dinner special, the steak meal was a hot mess, had to ask for a steak knife. The steak was bloody as a butchered cow, it was tough, a sharp knife could not even cut it. My husband went back to the comfort foods deli and told them about his problems, they didn't listen because one of the cooks offered to put it back on the grill, well that doesn't fix the toughness of the steak. My husband asked if he could have a different entree in exchange of the tough steak. They had to bring in the manager, the manager said, we will give you a refund for the steak meal, no exchanges. My husband had to go to the kisosk register for his refund. He was hungry and wanted another item. He got so pertrude that he lost his appetite. Also the Market Grille took away the $5 apps at Happy Hour and their daily specials at the Hy-Vee Market Grille. They only have the sandwich of the month for their only special. The poor service and the poor quality of food are not worth these prices!

We were shopping at Hyvee and they announced bake and take pizzas for $4.00. We got an Italian Sausage Pizza, when we got it home,the crust was burnt. Yeck! You get what you pay for!

We got black and oil saturated fries, a hair in them, my fork cut my mouth (that’s a first), and then it took 30 minutes to get new fries.

The all you can eat pizza is horrible. uncooked cheese, over loaded with tomato sauce with too much crust that was too doughy. I asked if they could make me a beef and mushroom pizza they said they would but never did. I wouldn't feed this pizza to my dog!

Took us awhile to get on board for meals here, the closest restaurant to our house. We are thrilled to have a $5, breakfast of eggs, meat, fruit and toast. And then for lunch special to have 2 flat bread pizzas for $7 . Good tastes indeed. The staff is very friendly and food arrives quickly. The atmosphere is quiet and comfy...but less chaotic that most restaurants. It's our new favorite place.
