Calling this food Chinese is in itself a stretch to begin with but lately it's been horrible. The Mongolian beef is basically beef and onions. The Generals chicken was bland, no heat and no peppers just extra heavy breading and cold chicken. It was also dry as the desert. Not sure why these dishes are always dry and lacking sauces

Very disappointed in the way I was treated tonight at Oakland Hy-Vee Chinese, Katlyn or whatever it was a 15 year employee way very rude, when I asked what a certain food was. I was told read the signs!!! Sorry I don't know what every thing is!!!! And of course no Fortune cookies and skimpy servings... Even tho people spend hundreds of dollars on flowers and groceries in a week we're still treated poorly.... I expect this at Walmart!!!! Guess I'll spend my money where I expect to be treated poorly!!!

I'd say the food is pretty good. It's not the healthiest food though. If you're trying to lose weight, I'd stay clear away. But I would say indulgence isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Hy-Vee Floral
We used Hy-Vee Floral on Oakland Rd for the flowers for our daughter’s wedding in October. Beth met with us and spent time to find out exactly what our daughter had in mind for her wedding. She brought ideas that we hadn’t even thought of that helped bring our vision to reality. The flowers were absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Gabby and Beth went to the church and venue to set up the flowers and ensure they were presented perfectly. Our daughter loved her bridal bouquet and the flowers for the wedding party. All of the flowers enhanced our wedding experience and were certainly a special touch to the day!
