Joensy's Restaurant

I always liked Joensy's but last night we ordered food from Joensy's and both my husband and I was throwing up the whole night. we had food poison and this wasn't the first time my husband had this. so were not gonna eat here again second time food poision for my husband and I.

I've past by this on the way to Menards for too many years. Today I did it and not just me invited friends and fam to the event of going to Jonsey's. What have I been doing not going here more often?
Wow. Everyone was full at the end. My teenager especially remarked he was full so that's a testament.
Because he's gluten free they put his pulled pork in a real bowl and served it to him. The fries had a wonderful flavor and great seasonings. We got the mushrooms too. Mmm. Great! And of course the tenderloin! Wow. It was amazing! I got the small this time. I'm debating getting the large next time.
Nice simple but clean environment. Friendly service.

Want to try another thing that is uniquely Iowan? Get a tenderloin sandwich here at Joensy's. The large tenderloin sandwich is a beast of a meal, but they are fried fresh to order and just so perfect. Even tho the buns are large, the tenderloin dwarfs them. A little challenging to eat but well worth it! The criss cut fries here will forever be my favourite. I feel no one does them as well as Joensy's! The front staff are wonderful and can definitely help walk you through the menu if it's your first time.

The worst customer service from employees and owner I’ve ever received. And the food was burnt. I ordered via door dash 2 large tenderloins, 1 small tenderloin and cheddar nuggets. I received 2 large burnt tenderloins that you couldn’t cut through on Texas toast covered in brown gravy, a small tenderloin that looked like someone ripped it apart and picked the breading off and cheddar nuggets that are also burnt. When I called them the employee I was speaking to said they made what was ordered. I read her the description on door dash which was a large fried tenderloin served on a bun with mayonnaise, pickles and onions. She told me that the description isn’t correct take it up with door dash. I again explained that I didn’t receive what I ordered. She then yelled for a coworker to come talk to me because she wasn’t dealing with me. When that employee answered I said to her that the First Lady wasn’t very professional and was rude, I heard everything she said. She apologized and I again explained to her the situation she was trying to talk to the owner who wouldn’t come to the phone to talk to me and then I was disconnected. I tried to call back 5 times receiving a busy signal and the 6th time it rang for 2 minutes and they didn’t answer.

Not quite what I expected!
The waitress was the best, extremely nice and helpful. The food was disappointing. First of all, it was slightly warm. I ordered sweet potato fries, and they were barely warm.
I was all set to bite into a hot sandwich.
I'll give it another try, and hopefully, it will be better.
