Keepin up with the Jones's has been my favorite food truck at Science Thursday at UIowa. When it came time to planning my wedding, I knew I wanted brunch options and thought the Keepin up truck would be perfect. I am so glad I choose them. They helped with planning the menu as well as meeting with me to make sure they knew where to set up the truck. They were very friendly, easy to coordinate with, and really went above and beyond to provide an awesome catering experience. They arrived early for set up and had everyone served quickly. All of the food was awesome and I got so many compliments on the food. I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for this style of food for their event.

Hiring a food truck from your event is sexy. Having one that is professional and serves up tasty as you know what bites, well... damnnnn. I reached out to Charles via email and got a timely response. He was upfront on cost-- how much was needed for a down payment and how much his minimum was. The entire planning process was painless. I had an event of about fifty people-- we had a two-hour serving window. Keepin Up With the Jones's food truck came about 90 minutes or so early to prep. The menu we had included: pulled pork, buffalo chicken sandwich, chicken bacon and ranch sandwich, cheeseburger, hamburger and popcorn chicken. Along with fries, baked beans, coleslaw and potato salad as sides. I am not kidding when I say everything that came out was great! Everyone was clean plate club. (And that is saying something. Those are some LEGIT serving sizes but the food was THAT good.) If you want reasonably priced, yummy food-- hire Keepin Up With the Jones's for your next event!

Someone gave a terrible review for a reason outside of the owners control? This place was absolutely AMAZING! I stopped by newbo food trucks to support my locals and found my favorite veggie burger! It's so hard to find a restaurant that takes the time to think about dietary restrictions but boy did they nail it! The potato salad wasn't a typical potato salad but it was out of this world! Everything was made fresh and burning my mouth. The only complaint I have is that is was so fresh and hot I couldn't eat it faster. I am so in love with this food truck and I can't stop day dreaming about it. Until next time. I love you.

We often have food trucks visit our offices for lunch and today was the first time I was really able to take advantage of it. I've seen the Keep Up truck at various events throughout the CR/IC area and had heard good mumblings, so when the email came across my screen, I ran out there as fast as I could. The truck is eye catching and they've got a smooth operation from order to service. The staff was pleasant and friendly while still moving at the speed of light. I think everyone was thankful for the card reader, which can be hard to come by with small and mobile businesses. While my food looked good making my way to the table, I was pretty unimpressed with my meal. I opted for the pulled pork with baked beans combo and the beans were the best part. (Not worth $2 for a stand-alone side though.) I think the pork just wasn't what I was expecting and not the style that I prefer, though I wouldn't describe it as "bad". The BBQ sundae was novel and sounded pretty good until I realized I didn't care for their pork. It seemed like a lot of folks were ordering the burger, maybe that's real draw. Nonetheless, I don't think I'll be sprinting to keep up with the Joneses again anytime soon.

Just had the Spicy Hawaiian Chicken sandwich it is uniquely tasteful. Love the down to earth service. Was pretty quick service and the sandwich was hot temperature wise. Thought I posted this last year, when I was in Cedar Rapids, but guess not. Anyway, what is your new schedule?

Had these guys at a work event and they were great. Had to wait a bit, but it was worth the wait. Staff was also super friendly and helpful. Sandwich comes with a side (not fries), but I wanted fries. They ended up giving me a dollar off the fries so I did not end up with a side that I would not eat!

Had grabbed a bite to eat this summer while I was out and about. A longer line had me thinking that I would be getting something really great. Realized that it was just that the line was taking forever to move. When I did get to the front I ordered a burger and the fries. It was ok, but nothing to write home about.

Y'all this is the second time I've tried Keepin up with the Jones's an I have not been disappointed yet! Just had the BBQ Sunday which is bbq pulled pork covered in bbq baked beans covered in coleslaw with a pickle spear m a cherry (tomato) on top! Y'all lemme tell ya it hit the spot! Also hand/homemade strawberry lemonade #CantGoWrong! It was so good I forgot to take a photo but trust me y'all do it! Great size portion!

I travel to Cedar Rapids almost on a monthly basis. I do not leave CR without finding the Keepin Up with The Jones's truck at least once before I leave every visit! This is a small business, family owed, great customer service,great food for almost anyone's taste & as affordable as any fast food chain. If you are tired of the same old thing for lunch or dinner, please give Keepin up With The Jones's a try. You will NOT be disappointed!
