We love our experience at Lightworks, especially their freshly made beignets and breakfast. Also, the cute drawings from the owner’s kids to me are a plus and very welcoming. We plan to come back to try more food❤️

The owners truly make you feel like an important customer! This place is my go to for a coffee or a breakfast sandwich. I also love the specials they put out coffee wise, brown butter coffee that is the right balance and Banana Latte are great fall flavors!

Hands down the best coffee spot in Cedar Rapids and might just be my favorite place for breakfast! I come almost every weekend and have never had anything other than an excellent experience.

Delicious food and friendly staff.

A lovely place with a cute patio and great drinks. The barista recommended the blue jasmine iced tea which was unique and delicious! Great coffee options too including several light roasts.

Very nice coffee and they actually can steam the milk properly which believe me, many places can’t. Also they have soy milk which is annoyingly rare to find in coffee shops in the U.S for some reason so that’s a big plus for me! The server was very friendly and they had no problem with grilling the chicken for my sandwich instead of deep frying it. Would be nice if there were more “light” meal options available like salads or omelettes. Also, the boxes for the sandwiches could be bigger as it makes it a bit difficult to eat
