Great spot down by the Cedar River. I am a big fan of Czech Pilsners and insisted we make time for a lunch and a beer there. What a great time; chatted it up with the locals and the bartender on an early Friday afternoon. I ordered the goulash and dumplings and my darling ordered a pork tenderloin. Both were great but hers was exceptional. Solid selection of Czech beers, Czechvar being my favorite. Reasonable tab for food and drinks and a nice friendly visit with locals to boot...
Had they're goulash and breaded mushrooms. I would absolutely recommend those! Not a fan of Kraut, BUT their kraut is good. It's made in house. I'll be back eventually.
This was the most enjoyable experience. Atmosphere, people food, drinks, goulash and Rebel beer the best. Dont miss it!! Its the friendly local place we always long for but can never find in our travels. We will be back!!
