Awesome food great timeless appeal! Cedar Rapids oldest bar and a great place to eat. Jeff is a wonderful owner/host and Amy is a delight. The tenderloin is classic, smash burgers are amazing. Beverage selection is wide without the high prices! A must visit place in CR and kid friendly.
A historic neighborhood bar in the most interesting area of Cedar Rapids. There was good live music and friendly service. Food choices were limited because of the late hour, but the goulash was pretty good.
This was our first stop in Cedar Rapids and we were glad for it! We were looking forward to the Czech goulash. This place takes a traditional classic and adds a modern twist. They serve it with bread on the side, optional cheese and green onion garnish, and the goulash itself has chunks of carrots and potatoes. It was a hearty and delicious meal. My husband enjoyed his pork dinner with kraut. The staff recommended local sites for us to check out and were attentive throughout...
