Fun, family atmosphere with homestyle food. Love that this is local a local place. Simple, tasty, and affordable. Have a Mega Loosie and make sure you try the pasta salad. As an update, they've added to their menu! Smashburgers, sliders, hot dogs, chili dogs, soups! Top ot off with a slice of pie from Kathy's Pies and a shake. Perfect!

First timer here!!Had a pick up and while waiting we chatted as if we've been life long friends. Supper friendly! We are a Maid Rite die hard family and since they have closed up in CR we needed a new spot. It was AMAZING delicious and my 90 yr old born n bred Cedar Rapids native approved. Thanks for the great experience!

I had a rare occasion to have lunch in Cedar Rapids, so I chose a lunch place. The food was average. The service was friendly, but my sandwich can slathered in mustard and it was all over the wrapper and ended up on me and everywhere. Everything was fresh, just meh. It was a good place to try.

The loosie meat sandwich meat was VERY dried out. We ordered (3) sandwiches - all 3 were terrible. Usually every time we drive by here we usually order….but not any more. We spent $18 for dried out sandwiches-took two bites and threw them out. You lost a customer.

Ordered take out for lunch. Got a chili dog and the all beef hotdog was the only saving grace. Chili was watery and had canned green beans in it?? 🤯
Potato salad was so vinegary, it was barely edible ( and I LOVE vinegar potato salad). Macaroni was cafeteria quality made with velveeta cheese and cold. Not worth the price, in my opinion.

The service and atmosphere was great as always, I've been going here ever since they opened and this is the first time I've ever been unhappy with the mega loose burger sandwich, not much flavor and the bread was very soggy, I couldn't even pick it up, I wound up eating with a fork.

The patatoe salad was awesome the mega loosie.not so much not worth the price the bun was Lind of soggy and fell a part way to easy the.meat was bland no real spice and tasted funny.the table we sat at was uncomfortable and to small the 2 meals were not worth .the price please put crinkle cut French fries on the menu.thanknyou
