The restaurant was a very short distance from our hotel, so, on a dreary and foggy night, we tried it. It was clean, the staff were moderately friendly (I suspect a language challenge), and my food was very good, although my wife's was not.\nIt was not spectacular enough that we would return, but, then, it's unlikely we'd ever be in Cedar Rapids again anyway. He had steak floutitas.. I had cheese enchiladas. Only mistake is avocado when I don't like it. Other than the avocado mistake this place is a place that you bump into by accident. They had a perfect drink and the food was excellent. This is one of those places that look ordinary on the outside. But the food is excellent on inside.. Don't miss out.
This restaurant was close to our hotel & even though we are from Texas we decided to go ahead & try this place since it has good reviews. A mistake. It was one of the worst Mexican restaurants I have eaten at & neither of us liked our dinner or the salsa. It was all sooooo very bland. We had enchiladas Verdes & Mexicanas which reminded me of some awful casserole my grandmother would make & not yummy. We barely ate our meals cuz it just wasn't good...
