We love coming to Lucky's on 16th specifically for breakfast pancakes, which are the size of a dinner plate! Lucky's is that little bit of a cross between hole-in-the-wall and bar/restaurant. Cozy atmosphere, but does tend to fill up fast (which is a good thing.)

Have to try local spots when we travel and Lucky’s is definitely a local favorite. One of the few restaurants in the Czech Village running strong. Simple, fun atmosphere and very friendly staff. Menu is extensive and there is something for everyone. Quick service and plenty of seating. If you are super hungry and not sure what you want, this is a great place to check out.
Lucky’s on 16th in Cedar Rapids nailed it with breakfast! The scrambled eggs were exactly how they should be—fluffy, moist, and cooked to perfection. Paired with crispy hashbrowns and fresh toast, the meal was simple yet satisfying, with every part prepared just right. In a clean, casual atmosphere, we enjoyed quick, efficient service, with our food arriving in about 10 minutes. If you’re after a classic breakfast done right, this place is a gem. Highly recommended for a relaxed, satisfying start to your day!

Horrible uncaring service by the bartender...... Ordered 3 egg w/ sausage , hash Brown's and coffee..... Creamer curdled in coffee instantly she was irritated I asked for milk in coffee instead. Got food had to wait to get silverware Never asked if food was good..... I thought order came with 2 sausages was charged for 4 ..... Not many people in the place so I don't get it (/I'm a regular ) .... Was supposed to enjoy my day off with breakfast.......I did not

Got the cheesesteak. There's not much flavor. I dont think the meat was seasoned at all sad... fries were really good, though, but the little they gave you was sad as well.
