Being lazy today and didn't want to make a lunch for work, so I stopped into Lu's and was greeted and serviced quite quick. As I work 2nd shift, this was going to sit a while before being devoured... It was as fresh as 9PM as it was when it was made at 130PM. Truly appreciate the gal who took the order... If you get the pasta sample to go, ask for it not to be on a plate, it can be a hassle to get in and out of a lunch box. This place should be rated higher than it is.

Lu’s is a gem in the NewBo neighborhood. The sandwiches are great and reasonably priced, and the shop is quaint and has a little patio for outdoor dining when the weather is nice!
The food is great, but what's better than that, is a long time CR business owner who takes the time to KNOW and care about her customers! Quality food and an environment where I know I can trust what happens behind the counter! Clean and inviting!😀🍩

Good food and atmosphere, but they serve their soup in paper cups with plastic spoons even when you dine in. That's so wasteful. They'd be better off using actual bowls and silverware that can be washed and reused. I look for that when I try new places. The planet (and myself and others) will thank you for going the extra mile.

A co-worker and I ordered Lu's Deli. I got the seafood sandwich and it was amazing!! I just wish that they offered more than just a 6 inch for the sandwich size. I wish they offered a 6 inch or a 12 inch, however they do offer wraps. I like how they have grubhub, but don't like how you can't customize your sandwich to what you want/don't want on it.
