The service and Margs were great but the seafood enchiladas were disappointing. The rest of the plate was good but the enchiladas were smaller than taco bell tacos and the taste was kind of mid. On the plus side they did drench the enchiladas in caso, so props there! I'll definitely be back for drinks with friends but hopefully the food is a little better next time.

What used to be a favorite under previous ownership is now long gone. Food was very bland and the queso is not your traditional white cheese queso it’s now a nacho cheese style you buy at a store. Nasty.

New EVERYTHING.. really great vibe and the food is comparable to authentic Texas Mexican food. Marcus is the best bartender and everyone there has been 💯

I’ve lived within walking distance of Mas for 5 years now. This place has changed a bunch over the last 5 years but it was never top shelf Mexican American and the service was mediocre at best. But lately, as it currently is, I would argue that this is easily top 2 or 3 best Mexican restaurants in all of Cedar Rapids.

We went there for an Easter lunch with the family! 6 adults and 3 kids.. our bill was around $160 and they added gratuity to the bill (around 20%).. we didn’t see that they did that and also tipped the waitress $80 total and then proceeded to get a couple more drinks and tipped more.. this used to be our go to family spot but after giving her almost as much as we spent on food, in tips, with out any honesty. We won’t be back now. Very unfortunate.

New ownership does not allow alcoholic drinks as part of take out orders. Sounds like "No Mas Margaritas" to me! � Food ok

Great food and great atmosphere! We go here at least once a month! Maybe more for the margaritas ! Try the Godfather 😋
