Being from out of town, we didn't know which local restaurants were good, so we stopped here based on its good reviews. Unfortunately, the service was terrible. Our waiter seemed completely uninterested in our table, and even tho it wasn't busy, he still managed to place our food incorrectly. To make matters worse, the gratuity was already included on the check, which explained our waiter's lack of effort. Given the high prices, he still ended up with a good tip, which wouldn't have been a problem if the service had been good. I'm usually a good tipper. The food was bland, and the portions were small. On a positive note, the chips were freshly made and very good.

I called and asked if the restaurant was able to take a reservation for four of us and the person who answered the phone said “we don’t do reservations” so I asked if they did call ahead and she said “no, there’s no wait time, we are slow for a Saturday night” …. Got there and the restaurant was PACKED FULL and then we had a 30-40 minute wait. The hostess was extremely rude as well when I asked if we could be sat somewhere farther in the back due to my dad being hard of hearing and one of the other people in our party having poor eyesight at night so I didn’t want to have her have to navigate between so many tables and she said “noooo we don’t do that, it’s loud everywhere” and I asked “well can you maybe try and place us towards the back” and she stared at me and said “no I can’t do that” as we were waiting the two hostess’ up front were glaring at me and my family and kept glaring at me and my family.
I love this food and this place but first being misled and then made to feel like what we asked for was too much was uncalled for and to see them clearly talking about us is unacceptable. So disappointed in this type of customer service.

Stopped in to get an order of ceviche to take to friends. WOW! It was absolutely so fresh - what a hit! The portion was very generous!

We ordered the 10 tacos for $10 to go for taco Tuesday. It was a great deal, the tacos were delicious and they give you so much stuff to put on them. Cheese, meat (choose between chicken or ground beef, we did some of both), lettuce, and queso. We will definitely be doing that again.

Mextizo has become our favorite Mexican restaurant. Have eaten there several times with family or friends or just the two of us. Excellent salsa and chips as a complimentary appetizer. Ordering queso with shredded chicken is excellent. Typically order the same menu item and each time is as good as the previous one. Very tentative waitresses, nicely decorated with plenty of seating both inside and outside.

Place was full up. Had a 20 minute wait for a tablebut had open seats at the bar so we ate there. Service was quick and attentive. Food was good, salsa was good, portin size allows for splitting. Beer was good and cold. We will go back.

Food was slow to get out, but they were busy and everyone was literally running to get it out as quickly as possible. I view bad service as employees not trying and/or caring. There was no bad service. They didn't have a bowl for water for my dogs. I taught them how to use a to-go container to do that and my boys had water. I ordered a margarita on the rocks and they brought frozen. I asked for on the rocks and a new one came out. People make mistakes. Quick correction means it is not a problem. The food and drink were good and cost for what we received provided a great value. We will be going back to try some other dishes.

The staff is amazing and super friendly. The menu is giant and delicious and offers something for even the pickiest eater.
The drink menu is immense and the bartenders are great and knowledgeable.
Tons of parking and seating.

The atmosphere is great here but you can't rate a restaurant by it's atmosphere. The food needs to be good. They use way too much cilantro. Like way too much! I like it but my wife doesn't. The margaritas are garbage here! Just saying!
