Pancheros Mexican Grill - Cedar Rapids Kirkwood

Ordered a burrito to go, then watched the worker tear the tortilla on the press. Threw that away, pressed out another tortilla and ripped that one as well. Another worker then proceeded to pinch it together with their hand and throw it on the flat top.

When rolling the burrito, the pinched together tortilla split back open.

Not a huge deal, but maybe start with an “un-torn” tortilla for $15

I’m not from here, but I love Panch. This Panch is easily one of the best I’ve ever had. I got a bowl and it was otherworldly. My coke was very delicious. The staff was also amazing and friendly and I got great portions in my bowl.

It’s shocking how consistently disappointing the Pancheros on Kirkwood has performed. Time after time, I’ve walked in to find them out of main ingredients, food sitting out for hours, no ice for drinks, or being served cold meals. Tonight was the breaking point—at 5 PM, they were only serving burrito bowls because the dough was still “thawing.” At dinner time?! That is completely unacceptable and unimaginable for any restaurant owner, let alone a national franchise who sells only a few items—all but one of which use tortillas!

To the owner: This location has been ran into the ground. The management team is a complete failure, and far too many employees show little to no professionalism, effort, or basic customer service skills. As a loyal patron of Pancheros, it’s disheartening to see such consistent issues at this location. Customers deserve better. Either get your operations in order—or risk losing the community that keeps your doors open.

It's been 7 months sence I last visited and I was done. Tonight I took a chance and needless to say I felt like I was ranchers I remembered I've been a customer for over 30 years. The serving table was spotless and stocked!! My server was professional and made an awsome burrito bowl. You've regained my business. Please tell staff this they need to be acknowledged. Thanks

Very disappointed! I bought my daughter a burrito and we found at least 3 bugs crawling out of the inside of her burrito. This is completely unacceptable and is a serious food safety issue. I hope this will be addressed immediately.

The 2 employees were great. My husband and I was the only 2 people in there. It was around 2ish. The food was hot. The meat looked a little dry. But the truly bad part was every table in the place was dirty.

They did a good Job but they will give you such dirty looks 15min till closing like I gotta eat and its part of the job description to be open this late.
