I am visiting from out-of-town with family. This place has the best Chicago-style Chinese food I've had in the last thirty years. We loved everything! Beef Broccoli, Pepper Steak, Egg Foo Yung, Crab Rangoon, Hot Sour soup, Egg Drop soup, etc. Even the fortune cookies were better than anything we can get in Utah. There really isn't a dine-in, but you are missing out if you skip this gem with either pick-up or delivery. The extra bonus sesame balls were the top prize.

We recently moved to the area and have been searching for good Chinese food. We’ve eaten at multiple places, but they all felt like they were missing something. We randomly stopped by this place, because it was kind of early (10:30 am) and they were open. SO happy we did. The customer service was great, and the food was amazing - best sesame chicken I’ve had in a very long time, maybe ever. My husband and I got 2 lunch specials and an order of dumplings, and it was $30 for SO MUCH food. We found our new go-to place 🥰

I noticed various people who called in an order were promptly greeted and provided their orders when they stopped in for their food.
There’s a few places to sit. Nothing fancy. Given the small size of the restaurant imagine most business is to go on Saturday evenings.
They’re opened Christmas and New Years. Closed on Tuesday’s per the menu.
I will definitely return.

Absolutely love this place. Food is authentic and servings are large. Is an old gas station, so it seems to be takeout only. Hidden gem in Cedar Rapids. Very good pricing. Parking is minimal.

This was honestly some of the best Chinese food I’ve had! The ordering platform was super easy, the food was ready quickly, and the owners even were so kind and included some free sesame dessert balls for us to try! They were so good! I have never had them before, but would definitely order them!

Updated Review: last minute meal idea after I burned dinner was a meal for two at Panda Lin. I left a two-star review about 9 months ago after so partly undercooked food, but it has come to my understanding that they were just under a lot of pressure to do orders that day. The Mongolian beef is 100% worth it and the general shows chicken is not overdone or too sweet. they also made a really good egg drop soup that wasn't too overwhelmingly eggy. still the better Chinese restaurant in the area. I would recommend that you and yours give it a shot.
Staying in Cedar Rapids for the weekend and my boyfriend and I were looking for a good place to pickup some dinner. Saw this place and could not be happier we tried it out! Love to support a family-owned small business and the food was great! All was hot and delicious! They even gave me a call when my food was ready for pickup. Reasonably priced and gave almond cookies with the takeout! Highly recommend!

I’ve been ordering from Panda Lin since I went to Coe College back in 2015 to 2019. I’ve always appreciated how inexpensive it is in relation to how much food you receive. They are always very helpful when you have questions, fast, and efficient about getting food out. I’ve never had an issue and it truly is one of my favorite places to get Chinese food in Cedar Rapids. They’re hot and sour soup is one of the best I’ve had, and we are a huge fan of their chicken egg rolls and fried rice.
