I don't live in CR but my family does.. and we've eaten at Parlor City several times over the last couple of years. Out of all the places we frequent in town, Parlor City is one of the best. Their food is consistently good and very fresh. Everything we've tried on the menu has been a hit! Service is always fast and pleasant. The atmosphere is social but never too crazy or loud. Definitely worth checking them out!
I ate lunch at Parlor City Pub this past Friday. I had the turkey, swiss, cucumber, sprouts, and dill sauce on marble rye. It was the best sandwich I have ever had, staff was very friendly, I'll be back.
We met some old friends there a couple weeks ago while visiting back in Iowa and really enjoyed the food and service. We had a nice table in a window alcove and didn't feel rushed as we ate and chatted with our friends we hadn't seen in a few years. Both my husband & I had the tenderloin sandwiches and they were delicious. If we're back in the Cedar Rapids area again (we're Iowa natives but live in Arizona now) we would certainly eat at Parlor City Pub...
