Peppercorn catered our wedding back in August of 2025 and we had the best experience with them! The staff was amazing all the way from our tasting, planning and through our big day! We went with a charcuterie table for cocktail hour and we also asked if they could do a few separate charcuterie cups for the wedding party and they were able to do that and all of that turned out so nicely! We also went with a buffet style for dinner with chicken breast and beef short rib for our entrees, as well as mashed potatoes, honey glazed carrots and the strawberry salad. Everything was amazing! We had so many people mention that was the best beef short rib that they’ve ever had as well as it being the best wedding food they’ve had. We definitely agree. We’re so happy that we went with them for our wedding!

We used peppercorn to cater our wedding. We had countless guests tell us it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding, and we were completely sold ourselves after the tasting.
They were easy to work with, responsive, and very accommodating with guests who had allergies or dietary restrictions, which gave us so much peace of mind. Cocktail hour and dinner service were seamless, and everything came out quickly and beautifully even with the kitchen on a different floor.
The food was outstanding — we especially recommend the prime rib or the chicken with the sun-dried tomato sauce. The homemade focaccia bread, passed appetizers, late-night bites, and desserts were all huge hits with our guests.
From start to finish, the food and service were top-notch. We would recommend them without hesitation to any couple wanting amazing wedding food and a smooth, professional experience.

Peppercorn Food Co. recently catered our wedding with food and bar/drink service and I absolutely recommend them for any event. We had a unique and non-traditional vision for food at our wedding and Peppercorn handled it very well! We did not have a large meal and sides but rather an array of different smaller portioned foods and appetizers. We still wanted to fully feed our guests and Peppercorn assisted us with this vision well and offered great ideas and very helpful suggestions. Carrie was very attentive in answering all our questions during planning and Jude and his team were AMAZING on the night of the event. We were very thankful for Jude and his professionalism, transparency, and service during our event. The food was phenomenal and we got so many outstanding compliments. Chef and the Bartender made sure my husband and I were taken care of all night and we greatly appreciated the personalized experience on our special day. Thank you again Peppercorn!

Wonderful experience with the Peppercorn Food Company for our wedding. Seamless experience from the initial tasting meeting, to finalizing our order of appetizers / plated meals, to the night of our wedding. We had appetizers before our main meal and the servers made it their priority to find us to make sure we got to try out the apps! Plated meals were excellent and everyone loved the food they provided.

We had Peppercorn Food Company cater our wedding in Dubuque, IA and we could not be happier with how the entire process went. We had a tasting with Jude and it was some of the best food we've had, let alone wedding food. Our goal going into our wedding was to have food that left our guests saying it was the best wedding meal ever. We accomplished that for sure! Carrie was such a wonderful help while in the planning stages of our wedding, always so responsive and helpful. The staff on the day of our wedding was amazing. They prioritized guest experience and service on top of delivering a high quality meal. They even saved us a platter of apps when they noticed we were taking awhile to get to cocktail hour! It was so thoughtful and really made us smile. My husband and I ate our dinner privately away from our guests and they made sure our table was set with everything, even being away from their prep area. I really just can't say enough about how wonderful the entire process went. I highly recommend them for any sort of event!

Went to a wedding that Peppercorn catered & they were very accommodating with my tree nut allergy. The food was very good & fresh, probably the best plated dinner I've had at a wedding! We were lucky to take home leftovers

A lot of very happy guests and beautiful moments, and the food elevated every single minute. From the songwriting wraps to the corn dogs, and all of the incredible beef at the lavender farm dinner - everything was amazing.

On August 30, 2025 we hired Peppercorn Catering to accommodate 140 people for our Jefferson High School 60th Reunion Class of 1965. The grilled chicken in mushroom sauce was dried out and Tough. The carrots were hard as a rock and Jude went back into the kitchen and tried microwaving! The fresh baked bread ended tasting day old. Our reunion event was fantastic except for the food! I should mention the salad and dressing was delicious!

Peppercorn catered our wedding and did a great job! They were by far the best of the places we sampled; most other places asked us to pay for a tasting. Peppercorn's was complimentary. We happily would have paid but to me, this shows the quality of their service and their willingness to go the extra mile. As soon as we tasted their food we knew we had to hire them. They traveled to our wedding reception in Milan and prepared our food on site; everything turned out perfect! Carrie was also extremely patient and willing to work with us to go slightly off menu. They really want to provide the experience YOU want! Peppercorn is well worth it!

I am still dreaming about the food from my engagement party and wedding. Jude and team never miss. Every detail is accounted for and the food, service, and communication is top notch!

Peppercorn catered our daughter‘s wedding in Galena. From start to finish the experience was superb. Everything that Carrie suggested to us was very thoughtful and honest and right on as far as quantity and perfect food combinations. Our guest raved about the on-site grilled fillet of beef and the Rosemary chicken. The appetizers, salad and plated meals were fabulous and the dessert table had a tasty variety of sweets.
The staff packed up the remaining food at the end of the evening and since the wedding party had planned a “Buddymoon” for the next two days , they loved the leftovers!
We couldn’t be happier with our choice. The wedding was truly a dream come true for our daughter and son-in-law. Thank you peppercorn!
