I was actually really excited when I walked in; it was cozy and warm. Walked up to the bar before 9pm, and most of the customers were drunk. Only one bartender and the place was full. Not fair to the bartender. Regardless, when a group of guys orders drinks or comments on their wait, screaming at them in front of a full bar is awkward and unprofessional. Left after 5 minutes.

Not sure that it's called Pizza Fiend, but their pizza is amazing. It's a shame one person got them started with a 1* rating because they didn't take the time to check out a new pizza shop. The pizza is cooked quickly in the big, open fire oven (you can see the fire!) and tastes fantastic. I had taco pizza and will be back for others. Can't say enough good things!

I've been here quite a few times and will continue to go back because their burgers are one of the best and hand cut fries are awesome! I still have yet to try when the shakes but I will soon! I always end up getting a bacon burger with everything so juicy and delicious!

Went here after finishing up some work and decided it looked interesting. The food and atmosphere are amazing if your ever in the area to check it out I'll be back to try more things on the menu had the Italian beef with fries and it was delicious

The food is great, the service is excellent, they have genuine Coke products, not a cheap substitute. They even had FOX News on one TV so we could catch up on current events. But after visiting this restaurant, we started getting unwanted spam sent to our email address. We NEVER gave them our email address. Somehow, our Internet search for their address linked them to our email address without our permission or authorization. Now something called "squareup.com" has all or part of our credit card number and email address. We never provided a credit card number for BurgerFiend except at payment at the restaurant. We did not order online. If you decide to visit this establishment for their excellent food, I would recommend turning your iPhone (or other mobile devices) hard off well before entering and keep them off while there. Pay with cash, not with a credit card. I suggest these precautions because we truly do not know how they ever got our email address or how this information was linked to our credit card number. Great food, but I feel like I was hacked.

For whatever reason, I have always thought that BurgerFiend was a dirty restaurant with mediocre food so when my dad suggested it for lunch I wasn't exactly over the moon. Fortunately, life is full of surprises. Yes, the area around it is grody and worn down, but BurgerFiend itself is clean and welcoming. The staff were friendly and very patient with my family being a little disorganized. My grandma ordered pasta salad from the Zaydo's side, while the rest of us got burgers and fries. My turkey burger was pretty good. We were able to split a large fry between the table and have some left over. Totally forgot to get my free ice cream for checking in, but that's great if you have kids!

Great burgers and fries! The consistency is very good and you get the same quality everytime you go there. They keep it clean and you can see the kitchen does not have build up from things not being cleaned daily. Our favorite burger place in Cedar Rapids.

Soooooo, I just left this place, I ordered a double burger with carmelized onions, jalapeno's, ketchup, lettuce and tomato and I asked for the burgers to be medium rare. Now, to be clear, I was the only customer on line. So after several minutes they brought me a well done burger, no ketchup, Jalapeno's or carmelized onions. I ate the burger because its never cool to return food as we are never sure what will happen once we do. I ate the burger, it was fine. However, I felt it was necessary to tell the young lady of their mistake. She only utters the words "uhuh, uhuh." No apology, nothing. Sadly, that kind of service makes for a loss of a paying customer. I cannot understand how, when I am your only customer, you can get an order so wrong!!??? Sadly, I may reconsider going back. I give this place 3 stars, regardless of the bad service and them getting it seriously wrong, the burger was still tasty.
