They were short staffed due to the weather and harsh snow this evening, and they communicated well to myself and others in drive to come inside for they're order and the two were very polite, and quick on their feet! Hopefully they have a safe drive home and a blessed night! Def deserve recognition for their hard work!

I always order the spicy tenders, which they usually have to make fresh, so there is a wait, but I don't mind waiting for fresh food.

Bad service tried to order my free welcome side on my app after I ordered a 10 piece tender and they refused to honor it or help me and the front door handle was filthy
Crap food, delayed service, and didn’t get half the order right. After looking at all the reviews, it’s obvious this location is going to shit and Popeyes does nothing to solve the issue, they just give the same careless and generic response to all poor reviews. Can I just get the wasted $30+ bucks I spent? Worst fast food in CR.

This is the 2nd time in a couple of months where we go to get chicken and they are out of chicken!! It’s 4:50 central time and you are out of chicken!! This is your main course and you have no chicken! How does this even happen! Hope they can get their s*** together!

Food so good that it justifies going past the full mark. I did add some lettuce. For me, it needed lettuce to give the flavors room to spread out. Delicious!

This place probably has the rudest and most impatient workers you can come across in Cedar Rapids. The food isn’t bad, but the employees aren’t something I’m going to suffer. Never returning to this place.

Having worked over 5 years in fast food (in my early work history) and another 15+ years in "customer service" position I tend to give people a little more wiggle room knowing the stress that comes with this territory.
That being said, idk if they were having a bad day or what, but you could tell there was tension between the workers. Which unfortunately got projected onto myself when ordering. I just got the impression you're annoyed to take a few orders. Today's work force really needs to learn how to deal with those frustrations and not let it effect how you interact with the customer.
With the statements above I know it's not hard to take a simple order if you apply yourself and ensure you're doing it properly. Simply ordering the #2 combo: "The ghost pepper sandwich with cheese and bacon combo" and receiving a ghost pepper sandwich (minus cheese and bacon) left me a little perplexed... When letting them know that I received an incorrect order, I was told by not just 1 employee, but 3 different ones talking over each other that "you have to ask for it, because it doesn't come that way."
I'm not sure what world this location is from but never has an advertised menu item NOT come with the main ingredients listed on the menu and instead is supposed to request those toppings. In the end the order was made correctly, but they sure didn't pump the breaks on trying to make me look like the stupid one.
On top of that it seems this location is either struggling or just generally falling apart.
It seems like the kitchen ventilation was out and the entire restaurant was smoky, there was a large puddle or water spill with a couple of wet floor signs in the middle of a mostly empty dining room, (not getting attention with a fairly slow drive through, you would think it would get cleaned up, but guess not.) and some lights somewhat falling out of the light fixtures.
Probably going to be a long while before I visit this location again. It's really gone downhill in the few years that it's been open.

The service is extremely slow. An online order came through and when I arrive to pick it up, the employee said it won't be ready in the next 25 minutes. The management should do better
This place seems to be struggling. I see something about a fryer being broken 2 weeks ago. Is that why tonight no one answered the drive up box after 5 minutes while there was no one else in line and only one car in the parking lot? Seems weird that 3 people were clearly in the kitchen when I drove by the window but no one was doing anything. I can't imagine upper management would find that to be a good thing. Hurts profits when you're not taking orders.
Raising Cane's is some good stuff. I can just go there more often if this is how this Popeye's is going to be.
Its a shame, because Popeye's as a brand is good. This location just has some problems.

There always an excuse with these people for why they can’t just do their job, They never have a full stock of chicken, never open to the hours they are supposed to, always rude. This place makes Popeyes across the country look bad and it’s terrible to see it’s this hard finding people willing to work and provide kind service. No entitlement either, I understand they work hard, but after a long day of work I come to get my meal, I should be able to expect the restaurant to have the food available that they sell and for decent humans serving the food. The food still tastes like Popeyes but the service is absolutely atrocious and if I could talk to the franchise owner of this establishment I could only suggest finding new people.

Showed up at 9:30, closing time CLEARLY states 11pm. Waited in the drive for 10 minutes, I then called and was rudely told "We close at 9" O stated it says 11, I rudely got "We close at 9" again. This store has always been a dump along with the workers. Close this store.
