The service was excellent! The food was alright. Nothing too special, this visit at least. This was our first visit here, so I won't judge the food in just 1 visit.
It did take a while to get our food, but they gave us a discount and a free beer because of this. You can't beat that. I was not expecting it. I didn't really realize how long it was taking, but our server came out and explained, and offered the free drink. That was good enough for me. But then at the end of our meal he apologized again and gave us a discount on the food as well. Wow! That was really awesome of him! He receive a very big tip for that. Yes, enough to make up for the discount he gave us. Thanks! I will be back to try the food again.

One of our favorites! The food and drink menus have many options, all delicious. Wait and service time can be a bit longer than desired when it's busy. Overall, a great place to visit on a week night or before a concert at The Powerhouse or Paramount.

I am a frequent visitor of Pub and usually the staff is very welcoming and sweet. Last night, my boyfriend called in to see if the kitchen was still open and to say the very least, I was appalled by the behavior I witnessed. I didn’t get the name of whoever answered the phone, but they were very, VERY rude. He didn’t even get another word in after asking. The bartender on the other end gave a snarky remark and hung up. Definitely a coaching moment, not trying to get anyone in trouble but it was honestly shocking :(

It has been over 5 years since I last ate here. I was so happy to experience it just as I did 5 years ago. Excellent food, excellent service (thanks, Austen) and reasonable prices. I also spoke with Mike (manager?) and let him know how pleased we were with everything. Nicely done, Brian and staff!!

I'd give this place 3 thumbs up if I had an extra hand. I've worked in the restaurant industry in D.C. and the Bay Area of California and I have to say, these guys set the standard. The bartender Maria was great and so were her food recommendations. A lot of bartenders and servers will recommend the most expensive items on the menu thinking they'll make more money off of the tip % but she was honest. Also, Jim the cook is the first person in almost 10 years to grill me a burger as good as I could do for myself. It was just about perfect, there was some pink in the center so the cow still had some moo left in it and the aioli they topped it with was finger licking good.

This place is ultra yummy, great service! I had a lot of apps and tried a lot of other people's food and the only thing disappointing was that I didn't have a second stomach to eat more. Everything I tried and ate was great. It's not a 5, it's a 10! I wanna go back already. What the freaking heck!!!
