The waitress tried to force us to wear masks on the two foot walk to our table, stating that we were allowed to take them off at the table. Apparently covid is only dangerous while you’re standing up. COVID is a joke and so is this place. Don’t waste your time.

It's too bad Riley's has become so unprofessional. They say they're open at 7:30 am but they never are. We drove out there twice and waited until 8:00 am and still no show. We drove over to the Marion Riley's and the same thing. CLOSED. We instead ate at Country Kitchen and had a great breakfast. Won't be going to Riley's anymore.

They say they open at 6:30 am. Well, not when we try to go there. We waited at the Boyson Road Riley's until 6:45 am and nothing and nobody. We were too hungry to forget about it, so we decided to drive to the Marion Riley's. Nope, not open. We went to the Marion Cafe Country Kitchen and had a splendid breakfast. Riley's food is good, but they're very unprofessional. If you're not gonna open until 7 or 8 say so.

The only reason it’s not one star is because the food tasted good. The server never talked to us and the food took 45 mins to come to us.

Went here because Perkins was too busy and we didn't want to wait for good food. Got here and discovered they paid their employees so little that they can't afford to live, then posted a sign blaming unemployment for their inability to keep staff. Actually posted a sign on the door calling unemployment, "The new pandemic." So I guess if you want to pay double the price of Perkins for food that's half as good as Perkins in order to support a business that won't take responsibility for the way they treat their employees, have right at it.

We love their great breakfast here. The staff is always prompt and courteous. Riley's has become one of our go-to places for good home cooking.

Delicious food and great staff. We came in after a huge group so it took a hot minute but they were updating us as time went on. Highly recommend especially as a breakfast date!

This place never disappoints. Awesome service and a great place to have breakfast with friend. Their portion size is spot and you shouldn't go home hungry.

The worst. Never again. Order was incorrect from the omelette to the beans I received instead of the hash browns I asked for. The toast was hard a a brick.
What a wonderful place!!! The service was welcoming and friendly and our waitress Aly was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave fantastic suggestions. We got the Hawkeye shipwreck with the English muffins and they were splendid! The combination of flavors gave just the right amount of spicy kick without being overpowering, and it was a very filling breakfast. The staff was very attentive with refilling our coffee and ensuring we were having a great time. The atmosphere was very unique and cool with a relaxed throwback vibe and a perfect lively but not loud level of noise. We had a wonderful time here and will definitely be returning.

I'm happy that Riley's survived 2020 and the Covid shut downs. This was my first time eating "in" for 2021. My order was fresh and hot and I didn't have a long wait. I ordered the veggie omelette and a side of French toast. The omelette was delicious and the French toast was good but not great. My server was Michelle and she was outstanding! She checked on me several times and made sure my coffee was filled and hot! Support local Cedar Rapids business's.

Good home style food at a reasonable price with large portions. Our group all had breakfast (build your own omelet, low carb meal, chicken fried steak, a pancake & French toast) and it was all good! Don't expect anything fancy, but it's family friendly, comfortable and has lots of options. Also the coffee cake was a favorite. Easy to choose what you want for a slight upcharge & friendly service. We went on a Sunday and were seated right away. For covid concerned: masks required while not seated.

I love their atmosphere! Our waitress was attentive and the food was delicious. Worth the wait. I wish I remembered to take a pic.I got the Country Skillet, came with toast. Good luck eating the whole thing. One friend got their salmon with eggs benedict, cooked medium. I wanted to snag a bite so bad. She said it was amazing.Pancakes are HUGE. I would always recommend this place.
