As someone born and raised in Texas, that makes 100% authentic Mexican food, I’d say decent food, but the prices are absolutely astronomical! Not to mention the quality of their attending staff.
I mean, to be honest, they’re down right ridiculous.
2 meals, with the $13 OMG dip, came to $80. I’ll stick with Taco Bell.

First time visiting this place and I'll go back. The atmosphere was great and the food was even better.

My fiancé and I went there today for dinner. We know it's a Friday night and that the restaurant was busy. As a former head waitress, it's sad to see that we had to wait for fifteen minutes and not be served or noticed. We also noticed that people that were there before and after us got their chips and drinks. We used to go here a lot because we enjoyed the atmosphere and the reasonable pricing, but looks like we gotta venture out elsewhere!

Was pretty excited to go try the birria pizza! We got there on a Monday evening at like 530p... there were maybe 4 tables of two tops and a few solo diners at the bar, all of which had food and drinks already or being served as we walked in. We get seated and promptly got chips and salsa.. the salsa was delicious.. but this is when the lack of service kicked in. No drink order taken until we actually had to wave a server over after nearly 20 mins and we had finished our salsa. We get our drinks and place our order finally. Food came quick, but tbh was not the best. The flavor of the birria was heavy of cinnamon or anise or both with very little cheese and the meat was sweet tasting. The consume was grody and thats my favorite part so I was bummed. Nobody checked on us until my daughter was standing up at the table hoping to get attention. Overall, the quality of service for an empty dining room on a Monday night, and the quality of food was really disappointing, we probably wont be back for a long time and if we do it will be to try the Dubai cups and cheesecake

One of my favorite Mexican food places in CR. Appetizers, meals, and drinks are all fairly priced and taste great. Always highly satisfied with service and food!

Order from Rio burrito tonight and this is what I get. I called them and the girl that works there pretty much told me that a couple of the orders went out like my order went out because they was in a bit of a rush so thank you for the great customer service I will never order from here again

Loved the food. Ordered the Barria pizza, which came with rice, beans, street corn, and consume. It was enough to feed like 3-4 people so I have lots of left overs. I love leftovers, especially when the food was good. Rice had a wonderful flavor. Beans were good. Street corn was yummy. Not big on the consume. Pizza itself was yummy. Ate too much, which included a doce de Leche cheese cake which was delicious.

First time here and I have nothing bad to say. Friday night, very busy but our waitress was very attentive and kept our drinks/ chip basket full. Tried the Queso Flight, good but I did prefer the chorizo queso. Also tried the Elote and OMG I could have drank it!! Ordered the Chicken/Chorizo burrito, which was packed full and HUGE!! Brought 2/3rds of it home! Definitely will be back!!!
