I watched the employee put a customer’s sandwich in the toaster oven then walk over to another business's booth at Newbo. Three other customers came and went after waiting for someone to show up. Then I heard a timer going off and saw the other customer frantically waiting for her sandwich to stop burning. Another couple waited at least 5 minutes while the employee was still chatting with someone at the other booth. She looked back several times and saw this couple, but seemed to want them to just walk away. I felt like I was on a different planet and couldn’t believe what I witnessing. When she finally came back, she didn’t even realize the sandwich was done 5 minutes ago. This place should hire employees who actually want to work.

Never leave reviews and never tried Roasters before. I didn’t end up liking the drink I ended up getting. Politely asked for something else and was treated rudely by a certain staff member. Will not be returning because of this lack of customer service and kindness.

Curried carrot, onion and parmesan quiche was phenomenal! Paired with dark roast coffee complimented each other perfectly. ❤️ Roasters 🥰

Stopped a few Saturday’s ago. We had an excellent drink. A cute set up with an amazing women owner. Keep brewing Amanda you are an amazing person. Come check out this cute little business you won’t regret it!

First of all, thank you for having coconut milk as a dairy alternative! We tried a dirty chai latte and cinnamon latte which were some of the best lattes we’ve ever had. Absolutely love that they make their own syrups and even their own chai mix. Additionally, we appreciated they increase the number of espresso shots as the cup size increases, so you know you’re getting a great drink (unlike many places that water it down). It was fun getting to talk to the owner a little bit, who was very knowledgeable and passionate about the business. We definitely plan to come back!

I have been to their other locations many times, so it was nice to see the tradition of excellence is exemplified at the NewBo City Market location as well. Delicious coffee, food, and smoothies. Fast friendly service.

I really enjoyed my coffee here - Stopped by on a long road trip and was very happy with my oat milk latte. The market building that the coffee shop is in is pretty neat too!

I stop here once a week for coffee! The service is delightful and dependable. The flights are fun! The food is tasty, and high quality. I love this place!

The owner of this cafe makes the most amazing and unique syrups all handmade! I cannot rave enough about the quality of coffee, flavor, or service. I got a flavor that was so close to home that I don’t find in Iowa very often and it was one of the best cups of coffee I’ve ever had. I wholly recommend stopping by and grabbing a cup while shopping around NewBo!
