The food was delicious! We had never eaten Salvadoran food before and was glad that we did. Our waitress was very friendly and answered all of our questions about the food. The place is very clean inside as well. We will definitely go back!

Upon seeing the plain exterior and wondering if we were even at the right location, my partner and I nearly turned away. I'm very glad we didn't, because the staff are very kind and the food is nothing less than extraordinary. I had the Salvadoran enchiladas which were crisp and savory. I also had a chorizo taco and it was one of the best I've ever had. The dining room is strewn with over a dozen different kinds of hot sauce so that's fun too.

Super delicious food and really good service. I had carne asada, yucca and the dessert empanada.My mom had chicken fajitas and a pupusa.It was all delicious and if anyone's looking to eat like a Columbian Arepa like the mom makes in Encanto, the pupusa are just like that and the best I've tasted in Iowa so far. So that's a super plus for me!!

Incredibly friendly service. Food is hot, fresh, delicious and authentic El Salvadoran (and Mexican) cuisine. The Pupusas are fantastic, as are the chicken tamales. Chorizo tacos and Al pastor tacos are delicious. Fried plantains are packed with flavor. New favorite restaurant in town, can't recommend this place enough.

I was very excited to see the sign up for a Papusaria in Cedar Rapids and even happier after I visited. Very fresh food and tasty food! My cousin and I had an assortment of papusas and tacos and some fried plantains. I was a little disappointed in sizes, but they were packed so much great flavor . I got over it. We had a great , very patient waitress who helped us with menu, soooo many choices. I'm looking forward to trying them all.

Incredible flavor! We went for the first time last weekend. My husband got a variety of enchiladas and ate the whole plate with no complaints. I tried the chile reyena. It was so flavorful, fresh, and had just the right amount of spice! We will be back to try more.

You want to give this place a moment of your time and you wont be disappointed. I know we all pass this restuarant many times as we drive down 16th Ave and today we stopped in. Our serve Julio describe flavors on a few items on the menu. Started us with some homemade salsa that was cool to start but gave a kick that was pleasant. We were curious about the Salvadorian Quesadilla everyone needs to try not what you would think just reading the meal but match exactly to the description Julio provide. My mother order Salvadoran Enchiladas other item that was full of flavor she will be returning to try a few other items. My father and myself had Chicken Fajitas and the spanish rice was cook with perfection. Im a very picky eater and my plate was empty and my belly full. This food has lots of flavor your taste bits want more and you enjoy all the time that goes into the cooking of their food. Stop by you wont be disappointed.
